I love the old Panic! at the Disco. This album is so fun and upbeat I enjoy listening to it all the time. All the songs are very catchy and clever. This is when Panic! was at it's best, and not trying to be hippies like with Pretty Odd. This is one of my favorite CD's and by far my favorite Panic! CD.
What's great about it: I love their old stuff, very fun and upbeat
Going to a Panic at the Disco concert myself, I feel a personal connection when I watch the DVD and listen to the CD. It's very fun and I loved the quality. The vocals were outstanding for being live, and I really enjoyed this. It's probably one of the best in concert CD/DVD's I've seen.
What's great about it: The band sounds AMAZING on this
This is a very different sound from the bands previous albums, but it's still pretty good. Many singers made a guest appearance on this album and the songs are really catchy and full of good harmonies. I think this isn't their best album because I got an impression this was written because they needed another big money maker, and they lacked some of the heart they used to have. Although I enjoyed it, I will still like the older FOB.
What's great about it: Very catchy and fun lyrics
What's not so great: Many people who liked older FOB may not like Folie A Duex
Bert's voice has always been great, but on this CD it really shows- the vocals were wonderful. There are a lot of really great songs with meaningful lyrics that I play over and over again. I loved this CD and any Used fan will enjoy it. Most of my favorite songs came off of this record!
In Love and Death is a great album that any Used fan will really enjoy. It was well worth my money and I think the lyrics and sound this album produces is what got me hooked on The Used! I love their music and I love this CD.
I think this was a pretty decent CD. The lyrics were very powerful, but difficult to understand at times. Gerard's vocals weren't the best on this album, but I still enjoyed it. Very raw and emotional sounding tracks that probably won't suit everyone's tastes.
What's great about it: Raw and good lyrics
What's not so great: A little hard to understand at times
I thought this was a very good CD. Gerard's vocals have very much improved from MCR's first album. I loved the sound and concept of the album. The only negative thing I can say is that sometimes it takes a certain music taste to fully appreciate this record. I would defiantly recommend this product though!
What's great about it: The energy and the improvement from the first album
What's not so great: Some songs are better than others
This is one CD that I can listen to over and over again and it still grows on me. The concept, emotion and lyrics are just outstanding. The band put forth their best effort in making The Black Parade and its sure to please anyone who listens to it. I love everything about this CD and can't wait until MCR releases a new one in 2009, I never get tired of their music!
I think this is a very promising new band. If you are a fan of good rock and alternative bands you will enjoy this. This album has a good balance of vocals and the sound is very good. I enjoyed this album, and I'm sure others will too.
What's great about it: The emotion put into it, the vocals and sound
What's not so great: Some of the stuff sounds the same
