Very good grill for the money
on November 8, 2014

I had a 3-year old larger and more expensive grill that still looked great but was worthless. The drip pan had rusted out and it was not replaceable as it was part of the burner box. It would have cost over $300 to replace it.
I then vowed to never buy another grill without a slide out drip pan. This led me to the Landmann Falcon 3-burner all stainless grill with a slide out drip pan. Although the stainless panels are of thin gauge, the grill is sturdy once assembled and I expect it to last many years.
The grill quickly gets very hot, easily reaching 450-degrees in minutes. It will probably go to 500 but I don't cook that hot. All in all, I am very happy with this grill though I wish it was a little heavier built and a little taller.
I should also commend Landmann for their excellent customer service. One of the panels was dented and there was a broken weld from damage during shipment. I called Landmann and they couldn't have been nicer. They apologized even though it wasn't their fault and immediately shipped the new parts to me. This made me feel even better about the purchase.
Also, I checked around and at least when I bought the grill, Best Buy had the best price with free shipping. Yeah, the Weber Genesis is nicer, but it is also $350 more. I think this grill is about as good as it gets in the sub $500 range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not up to other Logitech Remotes

My old Logitech remote worked very well for many years. This one however, never felt as intuitive to use and failed after just six months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
