I remember hearing artist in high school....This guy played all the instruments on his first album called Aldo Nova...he eventually got a backup band so he could go on the road and play live. He is extremely talented musician who can play a mean solo. Bands these days could learn a thing or two from his guitar work. I think he worked with Bon Jovi on one their ablums.....blood on bricks.

I really enjoyed watching this DVD. Being a fan of the band it gave me some insight into the history of the band and how they came together to record some of their music. The interviews with their families and fellow muscians was also nice as well. Even if you are not a fan of the band, you will enjoy watching this dvd. I like the extras included on the dvd version which included among others watching them sit down at a resturant and talk. If your a Rush fan.....get it..... The guys who put Iron Maiden Flight 666 DVD did this one. Enjoy.......
This is the third retrospective volume from the past few Rush albums. I was a little surprised of some of the songs selected. For example, off of the Presto album...they took Presto and not Show tell. I like Show better myself. The guy who produced Snakes and Arrows..went back and remixed Earthshine and One Little Victory on this album. I would have liked to have the lyrics included in this, but none are. The live cd version of "Ghost of a chance" is from the Atlanta show . The video can be seen on Snakes and Arrows Live dvd set. The dvd section is the videos they have release.
One extra on the dvd is Rush on the Colbert Report....it was hilarious seeing them....especially Neil Peart being interviewed.....and they do a live version of Tom Sawyer on that show....
If you like Rush...you will like it. I just wish they had included the lyrics for those fans who maybe are listening to the band the first time.
What's great about it: 2 for 1 cd and dvd
What's not so great: no lyrics for those who did not buy the individual albums.....
