One of the best shows you don't know about...

but totally should. I nearly missed this show when it first premiered. Looked really...lame, tbh. Boy, I was wrong. A graphic novel brought to life. And much life it has. Fantastic writing/dialogue and a pretty compelling story. Characters you can easily grow to love and a comical relationship between the two leads is something that has been said to resemble Men in Black meets The X-Files.
Seriously...if you're looking for something fun and simple, yet abit contagious[sorta like chicken pox] I recommend giving this a try. Or if anything try anf find the first volume GN and if you like it...you'll love this show.
Sheer brillance in its simplicity. ;)
What's great about it: Witty banter is out of this world & acting is spot on.
What's not so great: It was canceled[just 12 episodes]. :(

First things first, the on screen chemistry between these characters is wonderful. Whether its the jokes the guys are telling when they're all together or just how the boys react to the girls and vice versa. A show that was pretty racy for TV[still surprised it wasn't largely protested] but not racy for life. Anyone in high school can name the guys that get the girls and the girls that only date college guys. This show is a gem among the mid new millenium releases. Too bad it only lasted a season, but still...wonderfully written and casted.
What's great about it: Good extras and 2 unaired episodes
What's not so great: Only 3 discs. =/

Geeks of the world unite!

Well...summer of 2008...started off boring. Nothing on TV and no one to hang with. Saw these commericals about some show called The Middleman? didn't think i'd want to watch it, but like I said...nothing good was on TV. It was fate that nothing good was on that night, because I fell in love with this show. With too many cultural references to count, and a hidden Wilhelm Scream in every episode...this show is straight up fun. I'm most definitely picking these up the day of release. Think Men In Black...but even more dorky, yet just as cool. Great cast, great one liners, and great characters. "Fighting Evil...So You Don't Have To."
What's great about it: Short lived on TV, but will forever live in my heart
I would recommend this to a friend!
