Purchased this item online to pair with a Toshiba HD TV. Checked it out in the store before actually picking up and it had the best sound when compared to other sound bars on display. Was initially happy with my choice but thought connection would be through HDMI cable however audio cable connection was the only one that gave me sound. Its works perfectly in my bedroom, no need for anything more complicated. Beware that the sub-woofer may just stop working which happened to me on July 13th after purchasing on June 20th. I am now stuck dealing with Toshiba for replacement because of Best Buy's less than 30-day return policy. Really sucks, but I am waiting for my replacement using only the sound-bar without sub woofer. GREAT SOUND WHEN BOTH ITEMS WORKING! A lot better than others on the market, so choose wisely!!!!
