Ernest R. Dickerson's adaptation of The Most Dangerous Game, Surviving the Game, comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame transfer. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a theatrical trailer, as well as filmographies of the cast and crew. This is a fine, but unspectacular release from New Line.

This is one of those movies thats so bad its actually good. It really makes you wonder how something like this gets made. It was on Netflix and me and some friends decided to watch it and WOW. This is laugh out loud bad, but I love it.
What's great about it: "Always check the barrel"
What's not so great: "I ran inside but by the time I got there my wife and kids was dead"
A definite step up from Empire. West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum is not as disjointed as the previous record. Produced by Dan the Automator (who also produced the Gorillaz self titled album), West Ryder has a good range of style. Check it out.
