Baby Bose Big Sound

Everyone knows what Bose is known for and this little guy doesn’t stray from that. Straight off the back of the box you are informed; Deep, loud and immersive sound (I agree but the speaker is only size of your hand so don’t expect your whole home to be immersed) True 360-degree sound (I agree, spun the entire speaker and there were no missing sounds throughout) This really helps when you have it in a mutual spot and don’t want to exclude an area. Con to this is you may want to direct the music but can’t since it’s a full 360, so be careful where you put it. Water resistant and durable (doesn’t mean put it in the water but this guy is so small I can carry it to the tub, take a bath or shower, take it outside while I bar-b-que and then back inside to the kitchen while I finish cooking. One speaker for every location inside and outside my home). Right now its bedside because I’m sick, so I play jazz music to help me go to sleep. Bose Connect App enhances control (again back to how I’m using it now, instead of reaching over to change the song or volume, I just keep my phone close by, which I already do and control this little guy from my cell phone thru the app. Easy peezy) Con to connecting to your phone is getting messages, emails and phones to interrupt your music. Even more of a con, is if you have guests and other ppl connect to your Bose and decide to have a full conversation on your bose speaker, not cool. To avoid this just tell them to turn on ‘do not disturb’ and all should be fine. Up to 12 hours per full charge is really impressive. I see no reason for this not to happen unless you don’t let it play through and change the song, volume and such every 2 minutes.
Set up was really easy. 1) I plugged in the cord to the Bose and then the cord to the wall plug, then plug that into a wall power source. 2) Then I pressed the plus sign and looked for English. Surprise, it’s the first language, so then I pressed the multi-use button and it was ready to pair. After pairing it through my Bose app, I changed its name (personal choice) and some other features to make it more functional to myself.
Not too excited on trying to figure out what the Multi-use button will mean when I’m trying to use it. once for voice command, or play or pause or pick up the phone or hand up the phone. Heck I’m confused and the directions leave much to be desired or figured out in this case. Hah. The battery charging colors are pretty simple, green is good, blinking orange is charging, solid orange is half charged and red is Need to charge. The Bluetooth button will stay on when its connected to something.
Overall I like the size and feel. The sound is synonymous to Bose quality but I’m not a fan of the multiuse button or the function that connects your calls and notifications to the speaker. The multiuse button does connect you to siri if you have an iphone and you can talk to it and ask it questions (what’s the weather, play a son, who won a game, cool right). Not sure if its small enough or the right shape to travel with either. I’ll give it a go and report back. It has a good design, so I say pop it in the middle of large room and let it play.

I was able to unbox and put everything together and start using the vacuum in under 10 minutes.
I was able to vacuum 90% my 1500 sq ft home in under 20 mins. Towards the end of the battery life, the vacuum would cut off and cut back on. After a few of those it stopped working. Battery was dead & I was tired of holding it. Most of the weight is up top. (9lbs)
It came with a wall bracket but no screws. It only takes 2, so it wasn't a big deal. I installed the bracket in under 5 minutes. Great feature to keep this multi piece vacuum organized.
Medium mode was good on high carpet and lose rugs. High mode is perfect for low carpet and hard surfaces.
The bagless compartment was a little tricky to open but it was only bc I didn't follow the instructions properly. Once it's open, some of the dirt needed pulling out. (Not a fan of getting dirty while cleaning)
Again, I have a dog and a small house and it filled up with hair and dirt during one full use. So I will have to make time to empty the dirt after each use. (Wish it were bigger or held more dirt)
I haven't used the attachments but they are easy to snap on and off.
The cordless feature is the best, without losing quality in suction. One feature that would capitalize on the auction would be the adjustable carpet height.
I'm also afraid to know how much a battery replacement would cost.!!???!!!
All in all, this is a great cordless, bagless vacuum!

Works perfectly. Both lightning ports work as described. Each port will charge and play headphones perfectly. The sound is flawless. There is no interference or distortion in the audio. It's a little bulky, but It works with the volume control on the earbuds.

I've had my review for 4 days now. When I got it, it sat in the box for a day. Then I took everything out the box and spread it out on the dinner table. The next day I read the directions and looked at youtube videos of the system. After the 3rd day I was ready to install.
The install literally took; 2 minutes to hook up the base unit. 2 minutes to sync cameras. 3 minutes to download and sign in to Arlo app. What took the longest, no joke was to figure out where I wanted to put 2 additional cameras in my house. I already have a alarm system and 1 camera in my house. So these are additional. Once we decided where they would go, we set them and it was a go.
So, Setup, easy peasy. 10mins top. if you can get it up and running in 10 mins call Netgear.
Features, the one I love the most is the APP. Seriously, once you are up and running you will always be connected to your home. They have a fingerprint sign in, so no remembering another password. I've named my system and cameras so I know what I'm looking at. Once you press live, after a few seconds you are looking at your home or yard. Real Time. I only have like a 2 second lag so I feel confident in what I'm looking at is actually there.
Features, the one I love the most is the APP. Seriously, once you are up and running you will always be connected to your home. They have a fingerprint sign in, so no remembering another password. I've named my system and cameras so I know what I'm looking at. Once you press live, after a few seconds you are looking at your home or yard. Real Time. Once thing I'm needing to get used to it the different modes. I made a custom mode for motion only, not motion and sound. So when I'm not home, if my dog moves, I get a 10 second clip and a warning of motion in house. At first the warning are cute, I would check and my dog would be getting comfy on the couch, then if you twitched I got another message and another and another.
So, I will need to update those messages and settings but I do what to know whats moving and who it is when im not home. When I am home, I just disarm the motion alarm and no more messages.
I tried out the alarm on the base unit and I was 1 room away and it was SUPER LOAD AND ANNOYING. so I figured if I'm viewing live feed of my home, so someone breaking in or roaming around and they shouldn't be there, I turn on the alarm, if my first alarm wasn't set and they run out not knowing which alarm they tripped.
One funny thing before I end. I decided to look in on my dog and see what he was doing. Of course he's on the couch but he's licking it, not sure why, so I press the mic button on the app and tell him to stop. He looks up confused, I laugh and he stops. Yes, you can talk on the mic miles away and you can here inside your home, not sure see. Of course the sound isn't coming from a bose speaker but they that's cool.
Over all if you are looking for an easy security system that wont break the bank, this is it. It has some interesting features. The good the bad and ugly but its worth a try.
only bad I found was the wall mounts are confusing and the screws that come with it look weak. easy to replace though for comfort of mind.

I’m a big coffee drinker. So much so that I’m a gold member at Starbucks, 3 years running. That’s a lot of coffee, cappuccino and Frappuccino, latte’s cold brew. My hubby doesn’t like coffee, so the carafe probably won’t be used much.
With that being said, I wanted a machine that gave me all of these options without spending too much money and not have to leave my house.
Ninja has figured it out. I now have a barista in my kitchen. Con: I have a small kitchen and this little guy isn’t so little. So be prepared to make some space and try not to move it once you’ve planted it. Not as easy to relocate as a regular coffee maker.
I read the instructions and watched YouTube videos for the previous model and others like it. Seemed easy, so I gave it a go only to realize I didn’t have all the ingredients I wanted. So I ran to HEB and spent $25, ouch. (caramel, marshmallow crème, whip crème, almond milk, vanilla syrup, baileys liquor) What I didn’t have to buy was a coffee scooper because it comes with a smart scoop. Makes adding coffee grinds to the filter super easy and its hides away on the system. Don’t forget to clean it after each use. The permanent filter will save $. Can you imagine making 20, 30, 100 cups of coffee (not pots) and how many replaceable filters it would take? Ninja actually thought about us when they gave us this filter that you clean and reuse.
Back to the first drink…… Cappuccino. I was more excited about frothing the milk than anything. And I did……immediately pulled the cup from the frother and its was beautiful (up and down motion is suggested). You can do hot or cold milk. Con: after you froth milk, keep the cup under the frother until you are ready to wipe it off, otherwise, frothed milk will be splattered all over your counter and old milk is gross if not cleaned quickly. Suggestion, buy a frother cup that has a pouring spout. This will allow you to do a smooth pour and possible design of some sort. Or if you want to cheat the system, you can buy cappuccino stencils (99cents on eBay). Ninja, ya might consider adding all these accessories in the kit.
Moving on, be patient. You will have to read through the instructions a few times before you memorize your favorite drink. Key, keep the recipe’s close by. One tip I’ve noted is for cappuccino, you will want to preheat the cup. Hot drinks should go in a hot cup and cold drinks should go in a cold cup. (best tip yet)
Con: if you make one single cup after the other, be careful when you pull out the filter, it may have hot coffee grains in it and some liquid may spill out as well. So caution, clean thoroughly after using, just common sense really. Oh and the drip stop lever comes in handy when not in use as well. It will beep at you if you try to make a cup and the drip stop is on (rain drop with a line through it) just switch and keep it moving.
After all was said and done, I made a decent cup of Cappuccino. There are some things I will try differently but overall I made a product that I would normally pay $3-5 in a café for but I’m in my pajamas. Win Win. Ask me, would I recommend this to others………. Hhhhheeeeccckkk yeah (if you love coffee) Hope you enjoyed my review.

One trimmer, 2 People!

This seems like the ultimate grooming tool. One awesome reason is because of the waterproof design lets you use it in the shower. Now I can throw away the disposable razors for good. It comes with eight attachments but my husband uses the nose trimmer the most and I use the body shaper the most. Imagine that, 2 people using the same trimmer and (male/female). The function that takes this trimmer to next level is the setting to increase cutting speed. I’ve gone over some areas and need a closer cut or need to get it done once over because of the area im trimming so, I push the turbo button and it’s a closer and quicker trim. Once I’m done, plug it in and its ready to go the next use. I didn’t really read the instructions, out the box and started using it, so it must be easy! We probably wont use the other trimmer attachments but I think the 2 we use now and maybe one more makes it worth the money. Again, we now have one trimmer btwn the 2 of us. Oh the cons…………uhhhhhh, honestly I’m pulling this out my eyeball but the leather or pleather bag it comes with is really big for just the trimmer and the small attachments. Lol, that’s all I got.

I’ve been wanting a software to take photo editing to the next level. I take most of my photos on my cell phone but the ones I do take on my sony Ns7, I usually edit via my cell phone. Now I use my tablet to take advantage of touchscreen editing features and I love creating photo and video collages for family and friends. I DJ on the side and when I provide music I also take photos to give to the customer. I enjoy editing these photos with photoshop elements 15. It’s easy to use if you are used to Photoshop of some sort. Doesn’t take much space on my computer. I’ve noticed too that my photos have the options to be really organized, so that I don’t spend a lot time looking for something specific. Motion blur feature is really cool for sports shots. Again when I take photos for other people I include a frame and there are plenty of frame options on this software. One thing I don’t like is the slow importing system, if I want to import a large amount of photos, I have to leave it running and come back to it. On a consumer level operating system, this is worth it. However, if you use it for a large business you might want to invest more or pay someone to do the work.

Makes home more fun

Right out the box, I’m impressed. It feels and looks great. I think it will get dirty fast but oh well. I’ll clean it! The instructions included are simple and easy to follow. Once I downloaded the app and opened it, it immediately started looking for the device………..simple enough.
This thing is a voice-activated speaker and I can use voice commands to play a particular song I want to hear and raise the volume, with just my voice. If I have a question, I get answers from Google. I’ve been known to schedule one too many task throughout the day, so Google Home helps manage everyday tasks (I simply wake up and ask what do I have scheduled today). Google Home is compatible with my hubby’s Android and my Apple products. The sound quality is good but it’s not what you are used to if you have bose speakers elsewhere. One place I use it the most is the kitchen………… I ask for recipes, I ask for measurements, I ask for short cuts (hahaha) and then I ask Google home to set a timer. The bad, I use it in the kitchen and I’ve gotten it a little wet and dirty, however it’s easy to clean. I strongly suggest reading the directions first……..look up similar products and different suggestions on how best to use it and put it in a location that is easily accessible.
I really really like being able to say a song or artist and google will play it. I love music and this is the one thing I enjoy the most. I’ve yet to have company over, so I need to remember to mute the mic beforehand or I feel like my friends will abuse it.
It’s still in the testing phase for me because I feel like once I add accessible hardware like Nest, it will be at its full potential.
So all in all, if you are a techy and want to venture down this endless supply of knowledge in a can, I say GO FOR IT. enjoy

Absolutely Grand!

Looks: out the box, I'm amazed at how slim they reduced the case too be with the headphones and wires inside. will make for a much easy travel in my purse or backpack. when i opened it, and put them on, they felt good and covered my entire ear. all of the leather is really soft and the plastic seems strong.
Sound: i immediately turned them in. so easy i didn't read the manual for that. paired with my cellphone in less than a minute. cranked up some R&B and was astonished at the sound quality. the bass was incredible and yes, it cancelled the noise of my a/c and tv. my hubby was talking to me, right next to me and i didn't even know it.
Right out of the box i could use them, came with 70% battery and i knew that because of the bose app i downloaded (paired with these headphones) which can be controlled partially by the this app. Not really a fan of having to turn the headphones to start the true noise canceling feature but i'll live.
these headphones are lightweight and work fantastic. i think i've found my new all purpose headphones (travel, work and etc)

Big and strong ($$$)

First off this router is huge & looks awesome. After taking it out of the box I looked over the instructions. It seemed simple enough. So I proceed to Unplug mine, and plug in the new router. I log in online found the new router & BOOM . In up and running with the new router. Connecting my router extender was really easy. Pressed reset button on new router And extender And they were connected.. Now here are my concerns.. Its too big. I had to MAKE space for it. I logged IN online but it says I do not have an account connected to my new router. Im confused bc it works but I am Unable to change anything online. (the name and password of the new route) I will call Linksys help desk. One last annoying factor.... My new router seems to work great until I am on my Iphone and want to click a web site in a email then it freezes. Note, My phone Never did this before the New router I will research & report back. Overall if youre not a gamer or have 30 electronic devices running all at once, then this router is Overkill. To credit Linksys they produced very good routers and Ive never owned any other type. I will work with this router to perfection as it has great potential.
