I researched many travel cases prior to landing on the Nintendo Branded one. I knew I wanted a small one for easy air travel but something that was a hard case. This is not a hard or soft, it's somewhere in between. The case holds 5 game cards and a few accessories in the pouch however, I would not recommend the wrist straps in there due to them causing the lid to raise up and concerns me that it will add stress to the screen.

This cable does exactly what it claims. It charges your Game Pad using USB. This can be from a computer or from the Wii U itself. The 9 foot length gives you a lot of wiggle room. If you want to use it as a second AC adapter, you can use it with any usb to AC wall socket adapter.
Don't be put off by the other bad reviews. From what I've read around the Internet, some early boxes that were shipped to stores had the wrong cable inside the box. Mine had the correct cable. The end that plugs into the game pad is clearly visible inside the box's window. If you're concerned, do what I did and bring your existing charging cable with you to the store and make sure it's the right width. It should be very easy to tell if it's the right cable without opening the box. The 3DS charger that some people got by mistake is visibly narrower.

perfect, the second time around

received the first cable from bb .com and it had the 3dsi charging cable in it. went to store and they exchanged it for a correct one. they also made sure it fit the display unit and pulled all the wrong ones off the shelf right away. great customer service. this cord works with an ac wall adapter and never worried about running out of battery while gaming. 5/5
