Excellent series from start to finish

The top high school student in Japan, Light Yagami, one day finds a notebook dropped by a Shinigami by the name of Ryuk. Any human whose name is wirtten in the book dies. Light uses the notebook, Death Note, to rid the world of evil. But soon Light finds himself in a battle of wits with a genius detective by the name of L. Who will win? watch and see.
What's great about it: Unique story, that easily grabs your attention, a good watch
What's not so great: nothing

The nastiest demon in the desert

Desert Punk is an anime that only comes around every hundred years, its that good. Its about a mercenary called Punk that has a nasty rep. and always gets the job done. His only weakness is a larg rack and lots of cold hard cash. Desert Punk is an instant classic and a must for any anime collection.
What's great about it: Everything I love it!
What's not so great: Nothing just buy it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Series!

Full Metal Panic is about a anti-terroist organization called Mithril that secertly acts as world police and use giant robots called AS. It has a decent plot, action, as well as abet of love. The voice acting was top notch as well as the animation. Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu was so funny, that I didn't want it to end. Its takes place solely in school, where Sousuke gets into alot of trouble, and has no real combat scenes. Despite the lack in action it was one of the funniest anime I've seen. I enjoyed this anime and recommend everyone to check this one out.
What's great about it: One has action, the other humor two great things!
What's not so great: Fumoffu was not long enough for me
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what I was expecting

I loved Afro Samurai in his first DVD, thats why when Ressurection came out I went out to buy it without reading a review. Its fine that they wanted to put out more Afro because the first was a master piece, but! Ressurection dropped the ball on my expectations. The concept of having his dad come back from the dead to fight him is a great idea, but all the talking and lack of fighting made this one hard to enjoy. Ressurection has maybe 4 very short fights, and only the very first one was any good (opening). Despite being shaken up by Ressurection, I still like Afro Samurai, and hope to see a number 3. Hopefully it will be as good as the first. If your new to anime you might like this one, for the vets not so much.
What's great about it: Great animation, Great story concept
What's not so great: The music was TERRIBLE, no Real Fighting, Action it had was short
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
