Wirelessly surf, email, stream HD video, on-line game, make Internet phone calls. Less interference and better connections using dual band Wireless-N. Better speed and range than other USB Wireless-N adapters. Easy and secure wireless connections. Works with older Wi-Fi as well as new Wireless-N networks.

Much better than the old one

Like a dork, I'd bought the cheapest USB adapter I could find, not realizing it was cheap AND slow, not just cheap. When I bought a new router, I was annoyed that my internet connection hadn't sped up. Then I realized... DOH! The adapter I had was literally the slowest on the market. It even had a picture of a turtle on the box.
I picked up this little baby and plugged it in. I think I got whiplash the first time I typed in a URL. I'm going to replace my other SLOW adapter with one of these suckers. It's like surfing the internet on a racehorse instead of a plow horse.
What's great about it: It's fast!
What's not so great: It doesn't do the dishes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very happy

My old router had been a good and faithful friend, but it was struggling under the load. It kept dropping the connection for one of my three computers, and I bought a booster for it, but it just wasn't enough. It begged me, BEGGED me, to retire it. So I bought this new sleek, black Netgear router and sent my old router to the wireless pasture in the sky.
The new router bulges with data-streaming muscles! No matter how humid it is or how hot, the air is no match for this wireless powerhouse. It flexes its ethernet cable and shouts BOOYAH! Bring It! whenever I connect all three computers wirelessly at once -- even the gaming machine. Its smooth lines and sleek finish are so handsome, too, and its comforting blue glow serves as a nightlight when I stumble through the house in the wee hours of the night for a drink of water or to find out what the cat's gotten into.
All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.
What's great about it: It works!
What's not so great: It wasn't free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set-up was easy! My problem was that my router was dying, but I didn't know it when I bought this, so it didn't give my signal that much of a boost. I did keep my laptop from disconnecting every few minutes. Now that I have a new router, I need to reconfigure this device for the new network, but I haven't yet.
What's great about it: Ease of set-up
What's not so great: Didn't get that much of a boost
I would recommend this to a friend!
