This CD is an absolutely energetic CD. The lyrics are written so that anyone who's had relationship problems could easily relate. I just wanted to correct a few things the person above me stated about a song: The song There Is No "I" In Team is actually about John Nolan's (the original writer of Taking Back Sunday) feud with Jesse Lacey (lead singer of Brand New and original bass player for TBS). John actually had slept with Jesse's girlfriend, even though they were best friends all through high school, so Jesse left TBS and created Brand New. In Brand New's first album called Your Favorite Weapon, Jesse bashes John. On the song Seventy 7 Times 7 he says, "Is what you call tact? You're as subtle as a brick in the small of my back". This was actually said from Jesse to John in a phone conversation so naturally this line is used in both There Is No "I" In Team and Seventy 7 Times 7. The lines "(That's right he said, that's right he said it) (HAVE ANOTHER DRINK AND DRIVE YOURSELF HOME) I swear, you have no idea, (I HOPE THERE'S ICE ON ALL THE ROADS) The jealousy that became me thinking, (AND YOU CAN THINK OF ME WHEN YOU FORGET YOUR SEATBELT) (That's right he said) (AND AGAIN WHEN YOUR HEAD GOES THROUGH YOUR WINDSHIELD)" is actually the exact words used in Brand New's Seventy 7 Times 7. The line "And I've got a twenty-dollar bill that says you're up late night starting fist fights versus fences in your backyard" is a direct rebutle to Brand New's song Mixed Tape. Just a little bit of Taking Back Sunday and Brand New history.
I would recommend this to a friend!
