Audio Problem Solved
on July 28, 2011

First of all, Universal Studios received tons of complaints about the audio quality and a recall was issued. One disk and episode was particularly bad, so they've agreed to send people a new one. By this time (late July), there shouldn't be very many, if any, left in circulation.
Bear in mind, this is a show from the 1970's -- the audio/video quality weren't exactly top-notch the day it was filmed. Since then, the original copies have sat in the studio's vault. Considering this, the quality is remarkably good, but no amount of digital enhancement will ever produce a superb version. If you DO happen to get one which is really bad, don't hesitate to return it and make sure the store knows about the recall. (btw, I don't work for the store or the studio, but this information can be confirmed in reviews on other sites).
As for the show itself, five stars may seem excessive to a lot of people, but this is a childhood favorite of mine! Yeah, it's got all the hallmarks of classic 70's cheesy TV, but it's still very entertaining. Some of the stories are pretty awful, but the best ones more than make up for the worst. Given the bionic leap technology has made, they predicted amazingly well how bionics would actually work 35 years later.
My favorite story, "Doomsday Is Tomorrow," ranks in the top three best TV sci-fi I've ever seen! I made a VHS recording of it in the 80's, which I watched so many times that the tape broke!
Overall, if you keep it in perspective of the era and let yourself enjoy this show, I highly recommend this show!
What's great about it: Really superb stories and sci-fi thinking!
What's not so great: A few horrible stories...so bad they're good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I Love Ubisoft Games!

Anybody who has played "Assassin's Creed II" will fall right into "Brotherhood," just like an old pair of boots. The movements and controls are nearly identical, so you don't have to spend a lot of time learning a lot of new techniques. That said, the two games are not identical by any means. "Brotherhood" is a natural transition to its predecessor, much like book sequels.
The "brotherhood" portion of the game is an amazing enhancement, as is the ability to play against XBox Live friends. You can still play "Brotherhood" in pure story mode and get every bit the enjoyment and full experience that "Creed II" provided. I believe the addition of the "brotherhood" characters to assist you is something no other game has ever done.
The "brotherhood" can either be dispatched to take on various missions across Europe, or they can be summoned to do your dirty work in battle. You have the option of joining them in the fights or watching from a safe distance, while they clean up the mess. It's truly amazing.
The length of the game is every bit what you would hope for with a good RPG. Unlike some RPG's, you won't need to buy the add-on portions later to feel like you got a full game. On the other hand, who wouldn't want to keep playing and get those add-ons?
In short, Ubisoft is the master of RPG's. Both the "Prince of Persia" and "Assassin's Creed" series are true masterpieces. Yeah, they reuse a lot of the same algorithms for character movements and other core game components. However, when something's really right, why would you throw it out and start over? I actually think this is a good thing, because veteran players can jump right into the action. This also allows them to focus more on the story and other unique details of the game.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing
