This a new noir film set in L.A. Kim is fantastic as the femme fatale and anyone who likes classic noir films or even just a good crime film will love this one.
This Academy Award winner is a great movie. It is all done as a silent movie and after you have seen this one, you will want to see more silent movies. The cast is excellent and it was a must own for me.
This is an Australian crime movie with some startling consequences. Jacqueline Weaver is excellent and will be remembered as one of the great "mothers from hades".
David Fincher's serial killer thriller Seven was given a fabulous two-disc deluxe release a few years back. This single-disc edition offers an inexpensive way to acquire just the film without the extras that were loaded onto that previous edition. The film is presented here in a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital EX 5.1, DTS ES Surround Sound, and Stereo Surround Sound. English and French subtitles are accessible. Both the video and audio quality are excellent.
Who hasn't known someone like each one of these characters (if not yourself). The story and people unfold to a unique ending. Matthew is great, as usual. A must see!
This movie was engrossing from start to finish. I do not usually watch sci-fi type movies, but this one was more of an action movie with a unique twist. A must see!
The made-for-cable biopic Gotti comes to DVD with a standard full-frame 1.33:1 image that preserves the original broadcast aspect ratio. There is an English soundtrack rendered in Dolby Digital Surround, a French soundtrack recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo, and a Spanish soundtrack mixed in Dolby Digital Mono. Subtitles for those three languages may also be accessed. Supplemental features are limited to cast and crew bios. Fans of gangster pictures will enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at a real life Mafia figure, but nothing on this disc will interest the casual disc consumer.
