This is an album that from the opening track of You're In Love to the closing track of Dangerous But Worth The Risk is awesome 80's Hair Rock or Metal if you will. This was the second full release from Ratt in 1985 that continued right where Out Of The Cellar left off. What could make this better? The remaster work of Rock Candy Records. This is a must have for a RATT fan especially with the remaster work of Rock Candy.

This is a re-release from what was originally released in 1988. An album that saw a slight decline in Ratt's followers in comparison to when they broke out with their Out Of The Cellar release in 1983. Is it great? The album is good but the remaster work of Rock Candy brings out the songs as they should have been years ago. It's a good album that a Ratt fan should have in their collection and they should look outside of the hits of I Want A Woman or Way Cool Jr. There are hidden gems on here such as Bottom Line or What's It Gonna Be. Give the album a chance. It won't disappoint.

I've been a fan of Shinedown since the very first time I saw them in 2004 when they opened for VanHalen (or VanHagar). The album "Leave A Whisper" had me hooked as a fan. The edge and gritty-ness of that album kept me with them throughout the past 12 years. Fast forward to 2015 and the release of Threat To Survival. Yes, there are some great tunes on this album. As much airplay as Cut The Cord had received prior to the release had me concerned but I loved that song. The first half of the album is good, not great, but good. But then the second half of the album I just start to lose interest. It doesn't grab me from beginning to end which really does bother me. Every album prior had me hooked from beginning to end. I really wish I could say that's the case for this album but it's not. I sure hope that they get back to their grittyness and get the rock out on their next release.

This has got to be the most underrated Judas Priest record ever made. For those that purchased this album when it first came out in 1986, they will remember that this came out in a time that the metal world was being altered by the sound of hair metal and MTV. Priest fell right into the same wave of things and while this was the case, this is an album that was still put together well, even with synthesizer work. This to me was an album that was not the standard Priest album. Looking back, it was very 80's about party and fun and telling parents to go fly a kite with such songs as Parental Guidance and Wild Nights, Hot And Crazy Days. To this day, you can still hear Priest play Turbo Lover during their tour. I wouldn't suggest someone new to Judas Priest making this the first album that they get, but I sure would tell them that this is an album that should not be overlooked.
