This reboot of the Spider-Man franchise is a fun start to what I hope will be a series of several more movies. Much of the plot will be familiar to anyone who's seen 2002's Spider-Man, but all new actors and some new ideas make this a fresh comic book movie that is worth checking out. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are the best part of the film, and the action is fun to watch.
I bought this album after hearing "Merry Go Round" on the radio. It is a great song, and different from everything else out there. And what I found was an enjoyable, cohesive album. I've listened to it several times and like many of the songs. My favorites are "Follow Your Arrow" and "Silver Lining". They are catchy songs with clear messages. You are sure to find a few more to latch onto, depending on your taste. If you like "Merry Go Round", you will probably enjoy putting this album on repeat.
A genuine drama that addresses some real-life issues in a beautiful place. The actors give strong performances, making it easy to relate and care about the main characters. And there are just enough light moments to keep the story moving. The Hawaiian locations are beautiful to look at, and the soundtrack sets a wonderful tone. Check it out.
I won't give away the plot, but I'll say that if you like Wes Anderson's other movies, you will definitely enjoy this one. Quirky and funny as always, there is also plenty of heart in this movie. The two leads are unknown actors, but they are wonderful and genuine. And they are surrounded by familiar faces in all the supporting roles -- Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton, Ed Norton, and more. It's very likely you'll want to see it again as soon as it's over. Highly recommended.
I've loved all of Kelly Clarkson's albums, but none more than Stronger. The radio singles "Mr Know It All", "Stronger", and "Dark Side" are all wonderful, but there is so much more to enjoy. I especially recommend "I Forgive You", "The War Is Over", and "You Can't Win". An amazing voice singing great songs. If you enjoy Kelly's sound, you will want to listen to this album over and over. I can't recommend it enough.
