Start your morning off right with waffles made on this classic waffle maker. The round design produces 1 large traditional-style waffle at a time and the 5-setting browning control allows you to determine how dark your waffle becomes.

Easy and Great

Easy to use and makes the perfect waffle every time. The light tells you when the waffle is done perfectly. It is beneficial to read the instructions.
I would like to see added: Reversible or interchanging plates for different size waffle patterns. An audible beep when the waffle is done.
What's great about it: Easy to use, perfect waffles
What's not so great: Single size waffle pattern, no audible beep
I would recommend this to a friend!

This LG WM3987HW washer and dryer combo is ideal for limited space situations where no external venting source is available, and the full-size 3.6 cu. ft. tub means you won't have to compromise on capacity.

I love this washer with a firey passion!

This little unit is perfect for my needs. I live in an apartment with out washer/dryer hookups, so I needed something compact and ventless.
It does *not* need a dryer cord, though the website says it does. It comes with a standard 110 grounded power cord that is attached and ready to go.
It does *not* come with special hookups to hook it up to the sink. It does come with two 4' standard rubber inlet hoses, one hot and one cold. I hooked mine up like a dishwasher. It took fancy thinking but I went to Home Depot/OSH and got fittings and fashioned new 10' hoses out of braided steel hoses intended for an ice machine. It is hooked up to the hot and cold under my kitchen sink, lines run behind cabinets, and empties into my garbage disposal. Fantastic!
I live in a second story apartment, and my floor isn't exactly the most stable floor in the universe. I went and purchased a square of 1" thick solid wood to put my washer on, and there is nearly no vibration. Just make sure it's on a solid floor, it's level, and it should have almost no vibration. (I even went and listened to the spin cycle in my downstairs neighbors apartment... you can't hear it!) If it does get some thumping and vibration, pause it, open it up and loosen the clothes, then it should be fine. Also be sure that it isn't overly full.
The dryer function is very handy. I love the set and forget! It is possible to have it do a dry-only option, and it took me a while to figure out how to. 1. Turn on Power 2. Set Dry function (damp/normal) 3. Set Spin to NO SPIN. This should make a dry cycle only, not a drain/spin and dry cycle. If you do it in a different order, it doesn't seem to want to turn off the spin function.
The dryer works well, though it does take longer than a normal dryer. If you are aware of this and prepared for it, it really isn't much of a hassle. I set all my clothes to the "Damp" setting. They come out dry enough to fold and put away once the steam evaporates from the clothes. Normal Wash/Damp Dry takes about 2.5 hours. Generally, the only thing I have to dry longer ("Normal" setting) are towels... but they are kind of designed to hold moisture right?! ;-) Normal Wash/Normal Dry setting takes about 6 hours.
A few things I could change or dislike. There is no lint trap for the dryer. The lint tends to collect around the rubber seal and it looks unattractive and worries me a little bit. I clean it every wash, but I worry that the wear on the rubber seal may not be good. (Yay for the Geek Squad Protection covering wear and tear items!). It can sometimes take a long time for the dryer to unlatch after "pausing". A minor annoyance is all. I would like to see a "custom" setting or have it remember my settings so I don't have to adjust my most commonly used cycles every time. Overall, the good outweighs the bad by BY FAR. Most of these issues are really minor and hardly a hinderance.
Overall - it cleans fabulously, it saves space and has been a great investment. I LOVE IT! No more quarters, no more dirty washers... Hello, laundry at home!
What's great about it: Ventless, All-In-One, Space Saving, Quiet, Easy to use
What's not so great: Dry Times, Lint from Dry Cycle, Pricy (but worth it!)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great with iPhone

A bit pricey, but really worth it for those iPhone users that use their iPhone for listening to music and don't want to leave their phone constantly in airplane mode. I have had NONE of that crazy feedback that you might get while getting a text or a phone call. (Right out of the box I tested it - made and received several phone calls, texts and browsed the net on safari while hooked up - not a peep of that horrible noise!) The speakers have good sound and its compact design make it easy for me to take wherever I want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A definite first choice worth the $
By newwidowof3 from NY, NY
I am a new widow of 3 children; ages 9, 11 & 13. I really needed a washer/dryer that was worth every penny, yet didn't take up a lot of room; as well as & saver. I SO love my new LG and wouldn't change it for the world. My family has adopted it into the family and calls it their niece..LOL! Prior to the lost of my husband I use to wash clothes at the laundromat approx. 3-4 times a week. I finally went on strike in June stating that it was such a waste of money and I really needed a washing machine. Unfortunately, my husband passed in August but I have been blessed with the opportunity to purchased just what I needed to cut down on time in the laundromat & more time spent at home with the kids on a Saturday morning or even being able to clean house while their in school.

Dry Only :)
November 16, 2010
It is possible to only run the dryer portion. When you set your washer to a normal wash cycle, use the push button to set the desired drying time/setting first, *then* use the push button to set the "Sipn Speed" to NO SPIN. This will elimite the wash, rinse, spin cycles and only dry the clothes in the dryer. All the lights for water temp, clothes soil level, etc should go off, and the only light should be for the desired drying setting.
Good luck! I absolutely LOVE this washer/dryer combo unit. My detailed review to follow!

Does this machine have wheels to move it to the sink for hookup?

No. (Though that would be a GREAT addition!)

I see that a dryer cord is required , does it have a hook up to hook the washer to the sink?

The dryer cord is actually a standard grounded 110 cord, included and connected to the unit. It does NOT require an additional cord, even though the website says it does.

It does NOT come with special hookups to hook the washer to a sink. It took some fancy and creative thinking, and adapters that could be found at Home Depot or Orchard Supply Hardware, but I hooked mine up like a dishwasher. Basically, I had to "create" new water inlet hoses because the ones included were too short for my needs and wouldn't connect under my sink. We used 10' braided stainless steel hoses intended for ice machines and fittings to make one end fit the washer and the other end fit a splitter under my sink.

I have my washer draining into my garbage disposal, just like a washing machine. Super convenient!
