I am going to keep this short and sweet this is an excellent lens with great sharpness, color, contrast etc. Yes the lens is bigger than version one, yes the lens is heavier than version one but honestly I love the way it handles and feels in the hand. There is some vignetting but I actually like it for certain shots and it can be removed EASILY if not wanted. This is definitely for the professional. I do think it is a little bit expensive but quality cost sometimes and the quality is top notch. A big thumbs up.

I'll keep it short and sweet. This camera is producing some excellent images and the performance has been great for the caliber of this classification. Video is great also. I was thinking about the rx100iv but I think the extra lens range, longer 4k vid recording, ergonomics (even though a little big to be stealthy), bigger viewfinder, etc IS worth it. I actually shoot professionally with my DSLRS and multiple lenses but wanted a smaller camera for travel and really didn't want to sacrifice to much image quality. Of course it's not a full frame sensor but I'll tell you, it's lighter, has excellent lens range, great vid quality and photos are pretty great too all in one package. I'm still playing around with it but so far so good. Of course nothing is perfect honestly but I think most people will be happy with it.
