VIZIO P-Series is an amazing UHD TV

I have owned a Samsung 46" LED HD TV with a Samsung Soundbar and Subwoofer since 2010, and thought it was time to pick up a new bigger television for my Man Cave at home.
Before I buy anything, I tend to obsess over several brands on their features, and if that item is right for my needs. Firstly I looked at Samsung since my last TV has been amazing, and still is. But right now if you're in the market for an UHD set, Samsung's are highly over priced with lackluster features. I stumbled across VIZIO, which for years I have heard nothing but good things about, and I decided to check out their UHD sets, the P-series.
The P-series has everything you want in a UHD set, the color is great, the local dimming creates amazing blacks, and all around it's a great quality television. and in my opinion, the fact that VIZIO is an American company based out of Irvine CA just kind of cemented the deal for me.

I bought the 65" P-Series, and this thing is massive compared to my old 46".
set up was easy, but I must admit it is heavy, but I managed to install the stand and lift it where it needed to go comfortably by myself. I bought this with a VIZIO 2.1 Soundbar and Subwoofer as to match the TV. (and If you spend money on buying a big TV and you actually use the built in speakers, you're really missing out, because flat panels aren't known for having good sound quality) but the VIZIO Soundbar sounds amazing paired with this TV, and the Subwoofer really gives you that Theater experience I wanted to create.

Setting the TV up is pretty easy, it walks you through the first steps, with setting up your WIFI and registering your TV. plus with the Keyboard on the back of the remote, makes all of those steps a breeze. it has the Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons built in for ease of use, which is a pretty nifty feature since I own both. the TV has several other apps, but I won't use those asides from Youtube and VUDU.
But VUDU does not work on my TV... It says "Invalid hardware ID" so I'm hoping a future update will fix that, because I do have a growing digital library in VUDU. But i have VUDU on my Xbox One, so that doesn't affect the over all TV experience.

I have never liked that whole motion blur feature in HD TV's, it looks unreal and hokey to me. and that is the case on this TV as well, I hate the unnatural movements with that feature on. But after I turned that setting off, the TV looks amazing.
If you're wanting an UHD TV, and you like the VIZIO brand then this is a great set for you. The picture quality is the great, I enjoy the features, plus the WIFI on this is really fast so the 4K Netflix content looks great, and I can't wait to see all the other 4K content to come.
I bought this for $1,499.00 and that is a steal for what this TV is.

Very Funny

i have loved jacka55 since it first came out on mtv 10 years ago, and have laughed with this crew the whole time, im now an adult and just find this new installment to jacka55 extremely funny. the picture is really good for blu ray, but the material is very different from all the cameras, some scenes look alot better than others, and ll the phantom scenes look really really good, demo worthy to me !! the sound is real good too, from the classic roger alan wade songs, to the dild0 being slapped against someones face it all sounds great, and hilarious.
to me the jacka55 boys have always been there, so my brother and i have always watched it and laughed our a55e5 off, and when i saw this i had a $5 off coupon, so i bougt it, boy is this movie funny, my voice hurts today from all the laughing, the blu ray part of this movie is great, but the stupid dvd, with the anoglypohic glasses is useless, i don want to watch a stupid dvd and wear glasses, it hurt my eyes, so i would stick to the blu ray,
but in conlusion this was a hilarious night with lots of replayability to show to friends !! if youre a fan then its a buy, if not then why are you reading this !!?????

Go through the Rabbit Hole on Blu Ray

Alice is finally presented on Blu ray in full 1080p Master audio surround sound. and it looks and sounds great. alice has always been a very visual landmark in disney for its creativeness, and probably one of Walt Disneys most worked for films, taking him nearly 30 years to get Alice in Wonderland finally made. a tale of a young girl who goes through the rabbit hole and into the wild and Wonderful land of Wonderland, and the Adventures that insue, From the meeting with Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum. and the Red Queen and her attitude ! youll find this a perfect Disney film in all aspects of Disney.
But what makes this Movie Special, because who hasnt seen Alice in Wonderland?? Is this Beautiful Presentation on Blu ray to celebrate the Films 60th Anniversary !
Because again as Always Disney puts Another perfect Presentation of a classic Disney Movie on blu ray in perfect 1080p. the amazing colors of this movie POP off the screen in the way it was intended too looking as if it was drawn only yesterday, no fragmentation, no aliasing, no dust, just a perfect encode on blu ray , and the sound is amazing too. the film is presented in 1.33:1 presentation with the option t o turn on the disney view matching artwork on both sides to fill up the screen. this perfect encode with no blemishes with the quality even most new movies cant meet today is stunning and another beautiful classic to own on blu ray.
this classic disney is brought back from the vault and looks stellar, to the great and classic disney movie from the classic carrols story, this is a must own for any disney fan and watch the disney classics in their prime hay day !
i give this movie , the video transfer, the sound quality, and amazing special features, 5/5 golden diamond studded stars !
Because Disney Truly is Releasing Some of the Best Blu rays out their todeay, and cant wait to see what magicical classic disneys movies come out next on stunning Blu ray !

Blu ray was meant for PIXAR !!

i fully enjoy PIXAR movies and proudly own all of the available pixar titles on Blu ray, and they are some of my favorites. all pixars look stellar on blu ray with their 1080p digital transfers, and buxtuous Master Audio.
ratatouille is second to last on my least favorite pixar movies, i dont hate it i really like it, just not as much as all the others.
the story is new and creative and a very fun story, i feel movie wise it is worth the money.
and the picture and audio quality are absolutely stunning, disney truly makes the best blu rays like i always say. people like to say they dont notice but i do, there truyl is a difference with the huge difference in detail, and since this is pixar this is amazing !!
buy it for fans !

GREAT MOVIES ON BLU RAY

i bought this when it came out and was very pleased, the AQ and PQ are awsome on all of the movies, i dont like the third movie that much but the fourth was good, so it is a good set, cheap too for all on blu ray thats usually 25 a mobie now its like 10.
the master audio is prestine, dont listen to the one review i saw about some dummy talking about how you cant play it, if you have a blu ray youre blu ray will put out the optimal audio that youre system can handle. dont even worry about that.

shrek has never looked better and greener, and far far away looks better than it has ever looked !
if you like shrek and love HD that blu ray gives you this is a no brainer, this is the first non pixar cg movie that i ever liked, and it is a classic tale, i give it 5/5 stars for the AQ, and PQ.

GOOD BLU RAY

i liked this movie in theaters, i bought it forom y little brother, love ho blu ray is so clear and vibrant. details up the ying yang in this movie.
good buy, i never use my digital copies or dvds, but it does come with instructions, everyone should be computer savvy by now to understand it, just put code in and watch !!
good buy. good movie, i think the minions are so funny, the extra videos on blu ray are good,too BANANA !!
PQ & AQ are bothe great they did a great job on blu ray !

GREAT MONSTER MOVIE !

this is my favorite monster movie, and now arriving on blu ray looks great, the sound is not bad, and the piture is suprisingly good !
all the concepts in this movie story and actors work great with eachother, and create a movie that has comedy yet suspens at the same time but walks the tight rope perfectly between the two, and in the correct order.
great movie , my favorite kevin bacon movie.

this is a great box set, i love how they are in their own boxes, and first time on blu ray for shrek 1 & 2. the colors popl off the screen, each movie gets better and beter AQ & PQ, the third movie as story wise sucks but shrek 4 makes up for it, great on blu ray,
and for what the one guy said about this movie, not being good for being 7.1 audio, this is amazing, you get the master audio tracks, for these. and dont worry youre blu ray down converts it if you dont have a 7.1 system, but still this is a posititve thing !
great movies, great price, i would get this at best buy, the box is different from walmart, it talks when you push a button.
this is one of the best cg cartoons that is not pixar. 5/5 star alltogether, PQ is amazing, AQ is great, the movies are all great, except the third, but we have to deal with that for now !!
but it if you like shrek ! great job dreamworks looks great !
What's great about it: PQ & AQ storys are great, amazing restoration, first time on blu ray for shrek !
What's not so great: the third movie sucks, in my opinion, but sitll worth a watch

Ok bought this tv on sale before Black Friday 1499.00 then movers coupon 10% off 1350.00 total great deal sure get TV home broken screen take back to store none left take to a different bestbuy exchange TV get new one home works fine,go on apps to vudu says invalid hardware I'd. call bestbuy geek Squad the next day about problem because I bought 5 year warranty for 299.00 say they can't help me call vizio.so I call vizio they try everything possible to fix over phone they call me a hour later and say the hardware is bad we will ship you a new tv right away great get my new tv delivered go on vudu app again says invalid hardware I'd, talked to guys delivering new tv they tell me tons of these 4k tvs have bad mother boards and they have been going crazy exchanging tvs now vizio is sending me out another tv I have no complaints about vizio they are doing there best trying to resolve issue bestbuy just scratched their head at this, also vizio will give you a 5 year warranty for 149.00 and not scratch their head.

Same Invalid Hardware ID for VUDU

Yeah, I bought my 65" P Series the day before Thanksgiving, and everything else works great, but it's VUDU that doesn't work. It says Invalid hardware ID.
I sent an Email and they told me to reset the TV and I've done that twice but no cigar. so for now VUDU is not available, and I actually use VUDU a lot.
But I have my Xbox One hooked up, so I just use it on there.
