Amazing Value! Perfect for Fans of the Show...

As a huge fan of the bionic shows, and obsessed with Lindsay Wagner (Jaime Sommers) when I was a youth, this was a "no-brainer" for me. Young people today do not "get" this show or understand my/our attachment to it. "No cell phones?" "That looks so fake!"
But the DVDs do a good job of reproducing the quality color images from 40 years ago. The sound is fine, for the most part. Considering what the editors had to work with, it's hard to complain.
As a writer, I especially enjoyed the commentaries from James Parriot and Ken Johnson. However, I would have appreciated more/better "Special Features," like a documentary or a behind the scenes vignette.
Having seen the original Bloopers reel, replete with cursing and craziness, I found this one to be sorely lacking and unamusing. When I first saw Lindsay fumble a scene and curse like a sailor, I laughed my a** off. It doesn't take anything away from her to have left it that way. But she and Universal probably wanted it edited because of kids watching it, or because they feared it would somehow damage Lindsay's professional reputation.
