I wanted a basic three way video tripod head. This Sunpak has 360 degree rotation capability as well as vertical and side tilt capabilities. A level is included as well as two lever handles so you can fix whatever combination of angles that you want for a continuous shoot. Loosing one or both handles than allows panning in all two or three planes. The basic tripod head is metal. The ends of the levers are plastic. Both levers came loose and had to be screwed into the head. They can be screwed out for storage. It does have an Arca Swiss compatible quick release clamp and plate. I have already mounted the plate on my Sony HDR-PJ540 Camcorder. I bought it so all of my Arca Swiss compatible quick release plate cameras could be mounted on it if I so desired. I considered this a key feature since my other tripods and monopods are equipped with Arca Swiss compatible clamps.
This is NOT a fancy video tripod with fluid drag. It is what I bought: a basic three way video tripod head that I can mount on my tripod. For my intended uses, it is great.

What is the best Tripod with a folded length of 39cms or less
Since I travel a lot with my Nikon D3100 I am looking for a tripod which is around 39 cms in length so that it can fit my backpack. Please suggest
A candidate would be the Zomei Q666 or equivalent. It has five sections to its legs and folds up to less than 39 cm. It has a ball head with an Arca Swiss compatible quick release clamp and plate. The Q666C is the carbon version. It is lighter and more expensive. The reason I say equivalent is because it is branded by different wholesalers although Zomei in Chia makes it.

TRIPOD POLAROID Model PLTR150 is compatible with SONY VIDEO RECORDER HDR-XR 160 and SONY CYBER SHOT DSCW570 16.1?
Most cameras have a 1/4" - 20 thread socket to screw onto a 1/4" 20 thread screw on a tripod head. If your cameras have such sockets and the tripod you are looking at has such a screw on its head, they should go together without a problem.

Which tripod is best for action ie galloping horse?
The answer depends on what type of photography are you doing: still or video. Also, the distance would be important. Still photography at a distance with a zoom lens could use a ball head. If you are shooting video and want to follow the action, a tripod with a video head usually with one or two handles for panning would be better.
