Overall this is a wonderful CD if you like R&B. I appreciate R Kelly helping to keep this music live. It may not appeal to a younger fanbase, it is more old school and this was indeed his intention. He pays homage to Motown greats and music that was the songbook for a couple of decades. Pop, alternative, euro-tech pop is great, but there's nothing like R&B and R. Kelly knows it so well!!! "Write Me Back" is a great investment for your money!
What's great about it: Good ole' R&B, something that's missing from today's music scene!
What's not so great: Maybe one or two tracks I wasn't thrilled about.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent...So Toni Braxton!

I love this cd...after listening to hook singing and videos that have nothing to do with the song...this music is so refreshing...it's current without trying...the uptempo songs balances her ballads...it's a very mellow to fun cd, especially, while driving, sitting in traffic...simply love this latest work, I'm a bigger fan today than back in the day...people are sleeping on some really great music...her vocals are smokey and honey dipped, her styling is signature Toni Braxton...fav tracks are...Yesterday, Wardrobe, Hands Tied, Lookin at Me, Hero, Woman, Why Won't You Love Me...If I Have To Wait...is ok, but no need to skip it...Toni Braxton is still that girl who can really sing, outside of still being uber pretty and sexy, she can sing...Get this Pulse Today, you won't regret it!
What's great about it: Everything, seamless listening...
What's not so great: well, there may be one or tracks you don't love, but don't feel a need to skip either.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Film!!!

I really enjoyed this film and I think most people will. For those who feel a Christian film is supposed to be either all laughs or have a happy ending then that's not how life really unfolds. There was some profanity, but nothing excessive...I believe young girls and women should definitely see this movie. This an important film for several reasons. It's not a big budget film, but the film has a big heart and soul and you'll be left with a smile and feeling that God does answer prayer!
So many young women get distracted and caught-up in destructive relationships...this film gives insight to how it happens!
What's great about it: The story, characters, actors
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
