This is a review for the PS5/PC version of the 600 Gen2 Headset used exclusively on several different desktops and laptop PCs.
OK first please consider the price point of this headset. There are so many gaming headsets on the market, there will always be some that “have less” and some the “have more”… With that in mind, the 600 Gen2 seems priced right for the features and performance it offers, with the exception that this headset is SUPER DURABLE compared to any other headset I have used. EAR-CUPS – these are very nice for me, as I use this both for gaming and also serving double-duty as a “meeting headset” for online Team and Zoom meetings. Either way, I can wear these comfortably ALL DAY with an occasional pause to stretch without any discomfort. i have other headsets with thicker or softer padding, but I can honestly say that the light weight of the 600 Gen2 headset, along with what to me is “just enough” padding with a cloth cover (instead of leatherette or other soft plastic) stays cool and comfortable. Other headsets might be a little more “cushy” and pliable, but for me they build up heat and I start sweating around the ear after a few hours of use. SOUND QUALITY – no complaints, and there is a quick-change button that goes from custom, to bass boost, bass and treble boost, and voice enhancement settings. These are very quick and easy to change with a quick button push, and allow me to adjust the sound settings depending on what is going on at the moment. There is also an interesting “Superhuman Hearing” setting by hitting the power button once very quickly, and this is supposed to allow you to hear very quiet audio – like weapons loading or footsteps… it seems to work OK but your use would depend on what games you play. This setting would not be for “all day” use, but for specific gaming situations where the quality of the sound is not as important as hearing every little itty bitty sound around you. For music and other non-gaming applications, this headset has good quality audio and although there is no “surround sound” feature, I haven’t really found much that is lost (again, consider the price point). MICROPHONE – the sound of the microphone is OK. Not the best, but definitely OK and no problems being heard in games or meetings. I personally like the “flip up” function as the mic tucks into the side of the ear-cup out-of-the-way and not something that I worry about snapping off when I am tossing it around. The mic seems a little far from the mouth, but it has several positions that can be set “in” and “out” and “up some” and “down all the way” so other than wondering if it is close enough to my mouth, no one has complained and it is VERY quick to use the wheel control on the ear-cup to turn up the mic very quickly, or turn it down with out having to shut it off completely. BATTERY – gee whiz the battery on these seems to last forever. I am in the habit of charging up earbuds and headphones soon as I get done so they will be ready for the next time – but honestly the battery on these goes all day long with no problems. I mean a long time. One of these days I may see just how many days I can go without having to recharge, but all-day use has not been a problem so far. CONSTRUCTION – don’t be put off by the “all plastic” appearance of the headset. I personally like the construction as it is very LIGHT for long use, and doggone you can practically twist these into a knot without damage. I have been let down before by higher-priced headphones that had some “weak spots” like a hinge or swivel that broke and ruined the whole headset – nothing ticks me off more than a $5 plastic piece breaking and having to trash an expensive set of headphones. The 600 Gen2 headset does not have any weak spots that I can tell so far, and I don’t worry about being soooooo very careful when I put them on or take them off. I have used this over the top of a Rift S headset, and NO PROBLEMS with stretching the headphones out to fit over the Rift and NO WORRIES about breaking something. For no other reason than the durability, I would recommend this headset as one that will be around for a long time. CONNECTIVITY – keep in mind the headset uses a USB dongle for wireless connection. The transmitter and earphones are already in sync, so as soon as you plug in the dongle or turn on the headphones they connect. I actually like this compared to Bluetooth, as my Bluetooth headsets and earbuds tend to connect to several devices at once, or to the wrong device, or sometimes a little bit of both. The USB dongle connection is one more thing to deal with, but it actually is nice to know that my headset is going to connect to whichever computer I have the dongle plugged in to – every time. You will need to have the USB port available for the dongle, but I have used a really cheapo USB hub to make a port available, and have had no problems with connectivity or sound quality. APPEARANCE - I very much favor function over form, but let me add that this headset looks nice - very smooth lines and modern appearance. Older folks might not care too much about how it looks, but there is a definite stylish appearance for those that are looking for "looks" along with performance.
OVERALL – for the price, these are a good deal. There is really nothing missing to allow you to play and meet with good sound and microphone quality. Comfort for all-day use is superior, and the battery life supports it. Light on the head and VERY DURABLE. All these together make this a good investment that you will be using for a long time.

The K Supreme Plus is an addition to a K-Classic which has been in happy use for over a year. The “Plus” model offers some nice improvements. Keurig has introduced the “MultiStream” which is 5 water pins compared to 1 pin on the Classic model. This seems to provide a better flavor since the coffee grounds are more fully and evenly saturated. My use is primarily for hot tea, and there is a definite improvement here for tea brewing, and I have found that the tea pods can be used a couple of times (second cup is smaller) and the tea comes out very nicely the second cup. The Plus also has more selections for brewing “cup size” and separate buttons to choose strength and temperature of the brew. I find the Plus much easier to use because of these choices, and this also allows much more customization of brewing, with easy changes from brew to brew. The Plus also has 3 memory settings, which are very handy if you switch from coffee to tea frequently, or particularly when there is more than one person using the brewer – as each person can set the Keurig to brew with their preferences just by setting the memory button and then choosing their “number” when it’s their turn to brew. A couple of additional improvements are the water canister, which has a handle making it easier to hold for filling, and a little easier to put back in place on the brewer, and the brewer turns off automatically after 5 minutes. Some may think this will cause the next cup to take longer if the brewer is “off” when they start, but I have not noticed any significant difference in brewing time between the Classic (turned on) and the Plus (turned off). Overall, in terms of appearance I personally prefer the appearance of the Plus vs. the Classic, but that would be a matter of personal taste. If you already have a Classic, the Plus may not be a “must have” at the moment – but if you are looking for a second machine or buying your first Keurig single-cup brewer, I would recommend the Plus over the Classic as it is easier to use, has more customization, and the controls are clearly and brightly lit, and to me much more user-friendly. I would add that I got the refillable cup to use, and it brews both coffee and tea very nicely. Please note that you will need to get the 5-hole reusable cup, as the previous model 1-hole cups will not work.

First off these folks have very kindly provided a USB A-to-C cable to make this a nice package for adding another location for charging phones and tablets. Nice touch and much appreciated! Anyway, this is very handy to have for a "second spot" to charge phones and tablets. The 12W per plug is enough to get a rapid charge on phones, a good charge on tablets, and will "make do" to keep a small laptop going if the battery is running low. Since it is only 12W per plug, laptops may be needing a little more juice, but mine will accept the connection and the input can keep up with the output and adds some more to put a "light charge" on the laptop. Yyour mileage may vary with the larger devices for completing a full charge, but you can certainly count on this device to keep you going if your battery is starting to run low.. Belkin is one of several reputable companies that make "secondary market" chargers such as this one, and please do yourself a favor and don't buy the "cheapo" knockoffs but stick with a good device at a fair price. It's a good deal to have a universal charger like this one of good quality that can be SAFELY used on just about any small electronic device. I have several portable charging plugs from several reputable manufacturers, and this one is one of the better devices. Belkin is a reliable company, and the quality of their products remains high.

First I always look at the price point and consider that when reviewing something. With that in mind, for the price, you get a lot of nice features and good night vision with this camera.
Best things about it are:
Tracking – the camera can be set to “follow” a moving object in its field of view. This could be person, dog, cat (sometimes)…. and actually kind of creepy when the camera moves on its own as the dog walks across the room.
Field of View – mounted in the corner of a room, there is nothing hidden from the camera as it can go wall to wall and pretty much floor to ceiling.
Night Vision – I was really surprised at how good an image was presented with little to no lights in the room. No question you could identify the face of someone walking through a dark room with this camera. No settings to mess with, when it gets dark the camera shows a greyscale image, when more light is available you get color.
Storage – SD card comes with the camera and if you need a larger card, easy to swap out, or buy a bundle of cards if you want to keep a record of activity. You will want to catch the card before it fills up and overwrites the oldest image or video files, but that’s pretty easy to tell from the app.
Mounting – a little quick-mount bracket comes if you want to mount on the wall or ceiling. The camera is surprisingly light, so it won’t require mounting it over a wall stud – as long as your drywall is pretty sturdy it should mount without having to hit a 2x4.
Wireless – this device connected with my wireless network in seconds. One of the easiest devices to get going I have had in a while. Needs to connect with the app on your phone to complete the process, so have your phone or tablet handy for setup.
Notifications on Motion or Sound – this one caught me off guard, as I set it up for “notifications” and really wasn’t expecting what happened next… was trying out the camera just setting on my office desk, and every time someone walked in or out of the room, and every time the dog (small chiweenie) walked in or out of the room, I would get a notification on my phone. Don’t get me started on the dog barking because if she cleared her throat too loudly, I would get a notification of “sound in the area.” That’s a nice feature but you probably don’t want to enable “notifications” until you are fixing to leave the house and if you have a dog or large cat that moves around a lot, or barks whenever a car goes by, maybe just don’t use that feature. I’m just sayin…
Kind of not OK, but maybe I’m being picky?
Well the fact that this camera will ONLY work on a phone app and cannot feed to a desktop/laptop app is kind of a problem with me. Personally, I would prefer to have camera access available on my desktop or laptop while away from the house at work to keep it in front of me if needed. Having to pull my phone out and check the app to see who set off the motion (or sound) detection trigger is a bit of a hassle for me. Other folks may thing this is the best feature of all – just be aware of it and if that’s OK with you, no problems. The camera WILL feed to some Google devices with small screens or large screen TV size if you have it, but I don’t have that so please catch some other reviews for using this with a smart home display or TV panel. It works from what I have read, so if you have one of those thingies by your bed and tell Google to show you a view of your carport when you hear something in the middle of the night, it should work just fine. Me, I would just let the pet cougar loose and tell it to “sic ‘em” and listen for the screams. If you don’t have a pet cougar, maybe this camera would be a good thing to have hooked up to your Google Home Thing Screen.
Kind of laggy on the response time – I’m really amazed at how fast a signal can go from my phone to a tower to a satellite and back to a tower and then to your phone – WOW it’s really really amazingly fast! With this camera, it seems to have a built-in lag of about 2 or 3 seconds no matter what. Because of the lag, I have the tendency to “oversteer” and don’t stop hitting the “move it” arrow in time to stop the camera where I want it to stop. It’s one of those “little bit – stop” “little bit – stop” until I get the camera where I want it. Not so smooth and again, for the price I almost feel like I’m being picky – but there you are.
OK there is no way around it – you will need to run a thin power cable to this camera. You can pull power from USB off a nearby TV (maybe) or use the power block to pull power off an outlet. Hotwiring into the house if out of my field, if you can do it, or want to have someone come in to do it – there’s your answer. I’m not so sure about getting a 30-foot-long micro-usb cable to run into the wall and pop out near an outlet and that’s just a total hassle to me. If you got it, good for you. For me, not so convenient.
Fish-eye lens – I’m used to cameras that give a non-distorted picture. Blame it on all the TEAMs and ZOOM meetings I’ve been having the past few months. Anyway, the fish-eye does give the extra field of view, and anything towards the center is pretty much clear appearance, but it kind of bugs me to have a curved image, especially when it is on a small phone screen. Be advised.
Indoor only – not a criticism as you can’t get waterproof and raccoon proof and all that in this price range, but please be sure you understand this is not going to work out if you put it out in the rain or where it can get condensation or frost in it. Be advised. Maybe under the eave of a house or porch “ceiling” – but still I would think if it got wet you would be looking at a black video feed more often than not.
Well there you have it – I have to say this camera was much more than I was expecting for the price, and really does some pretty neat things with good quality and really clear night-vision. It checks a lot of boxes, but I really have to say I would not be using this as my only “security system” device. It has a lot of clever and helpful uses, but protecting my house from a break-in would need a little more than a ceiling mounted spy camera.

Good sound and battery life….microphone could use some help
OK these are definitely not up to over-the-ear sound quality, so adjust your expectations for the price point and if you fiddle with the sound settings on the app you can find a pre-set that works best for the particular game you are playing. Once you get a good fit (plenty of tips to choose from) and set the equalizer to your liking, it’s actually pretty nice not to have the weight of cans on your head. These work out nicely to provide improved sound on an Oculus Rift S bluetooth pairing with the computer and no lag at all.
Bluetooth paired no problems with desktop, phone, laptop, tablet >> no problem going from one device to the other.
As mentioned, a good selection of ear tips for your best fit, and nice to have a little traveling case/bag to keep everything together so you don’t have to hang on to the box to keep everything sorted out.
Battery life is probably the best thing about these earbuds, as easy to get 10 hours + on a chat console or in multi-player. Re-charging is about the same as everyone else, I usually charge them back up overnight so can’t really say if it is
Sadly, the microphone is very much a step down from a stem mic on a headset, as other “regular” players picked up on the difference and described the microphone sound as “like talking to you on a phone” instead of a good microphone. Also needed to hold the microphone up close to the mouth in some games to be heard, and still not the sound quality you might be used to with a stem mic.
So, for the price, these work well for sound purposes and are light, good bluetooth connection without any lag, long long battery life. For multi-player games where good microphone quality is essential to the game, you might want to move up to a higher price point and check the reviews.

Look closely - this has the older style VGA connector so be sure you are getting the right one for your needs. With that said, many of us have that "old" monitor sitting around looking for something to do. If you have recently gotten a new-style 2-in-1, convertible, or a Surface Go or Go 2, this is nice to have to hook up the larger display for all-day use - a little easier on the eyes. Don't overlook the "pass through" power channel, as you can charge your device at the same time you have the monitor connected. For this to work, your device must have USB3 video signal coming out of the device. There is no video card built in to the adapter. That's a lot of words for something that is VERY simple to use - just plug it in and activate the secondary screen on your device, and you are good to go!

All the reviews I have seen sing the praises of both the design and function of the keyboard, and it does indeed have unsurpassed design with good tactile keypress and BACKLIGHTING! The Go2 is not intended to be a tablet at all times for all purposes. It is a Windows 10 machine and for that you will want to have the option of using a keyboard with a (very nice) built-in trackpad.
The Go2 is a Windows computer, and the keyboard completes the package and allows you the use of a fully functional machine when you need it. I am still amazed at how easy it is to pop to keyboard on and off. I don't mean "it comes off easily" like it doesn't stay on securely because when it is on, it is ON and isn't going to pop off when you pick it up or put it down - what I mean is that you can hold the keyboard and quickly pull it off, and then the darn thing seems like it knows what to do when you put it back on - it pops (securely) right into place without a bunch of fiddling around. Very nice!
One of the very nice things about the Go2 line is the very professional appearance you can get from the color-matched accessories. There is nothing like having a Go2 with keyboard, mouse, and pen all coordinated. Around the house, maybe not so much a big deal, but out in the business or educational world, it really does stand out and looks very professional. It also feels pretty nice to have “the look” with your technology. People DO notice.
Get the keyboard. There are some nice package deals that include a keyboard, and I can almost guarantee that sooner or later you will get a keyboard for your Go2. Better sooner than later, so you can really enjoy this neat little machine from day one!
Go fancy with the nice Alcantara Signature cover – you deserve it and for a few bucks more it really looks nice and complements the appearance of the Go2. Save a few bucks and get the black plastic cover if you like, but really the Alcantara is a nice touch, looks great, and for as long as you are going to be using your Go2, you will be glad you got the Signature cover upgrade every time you use it.
Your perfect everyday companion. Surface Go 2 is perfect for keeping up and winding down - delivering tablet portability with laptop versatility, long battery life, a stunning touchscreen, and Windows security for the whole family. Browse, shop, and manage email with ease, relax with your favorite TV shows, and much more.

Hey >> The “Go” in “Surface Go 2” means you GO PLACES with it...
DISCLOSURE: “Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews.”
The name “Go” sums it up >> this device is something you take with you when you “Go” places. When I am headed out the door for a meeting or "out and about" in the world, the “Go2” comes along to flip open and take notes, zip off a quick email, share photos or drafts of presentations >> anything that benefits from having a full operating system that is COMPATIBLE with, and SYNCHRONIZED with, my systems back at the office and at home. If the Surface Go 2 looks like a “real” little computer that is pretty cool, cute, handy, or would make your life easier or more productive >> then it’s worth a look. Please I am not a “Microsoft Fan Boy” as I use (or have used) Windows, Linux, Android, Chromebook, iPad, and MacOS at different times for different purposes. Each has its strengths, and none of them are all things at all time to all people. Figure out what you want, and if the Go2 looks like what you want and meets your needs, you will not be disappointed.
WHAT IT IS:
1 – Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System – the whole thing >> NOTE: the default OS on unboxing is the W10 “S” which takes about 5 minutes to switch over (free of charge) to the full “W10 Home” system. The W10 “S” mode is there to keep the installed programs from collecting a lot of “digital sludge” that slows down ANY computer over time, and if you can go with the apps and programs in the Microsoft Store, that is the best way to keep the Go2 as snappy and clean as possible. If you must switch out of “S” mode to install needed software, please don’t go crazy and install a bunch of junk that will slow you down. The Go2 runs fine, but if it starts getting overloaded with background services it will cut down on both your speed and your battery life.
2 – Small and Light – did I say it was small and light? If you walk around at work, you carry a portfolio or a clipboard or something in your hands – if you don’t have something in your hands it looks like you are slacking off – you know that don’t you? Carry a Surface Go 2 instead – it replaces your clipboard, keeps you from having to keep pulling your phone out in the middle of everything (MS update is coming to allow phone interaction on the Windows system if you don’t already have that <or> tether the Go2 to your phone before you go in the meeting), and I GUARANTEE people will come over and ask through their facemask “What the heck have you got in your hand?”
3 – VERY nice build quality – not the “cheapo plastic” shell and paperclip hinges you get with a budget laptop – no siree.... this is a magnesium metal shell and is a SOLID piece of equipment. The hinge for the prop-stand should win the Nobel Prize for engineering – it will adjust to any angle you want and STAY THERE right where you set it. Go to BestBuy and pick up and handle a few machines in this price range.... you will very quickly see and feel what I mean – the Go2 has a premium feel and you can “just tell” when you pick it up that it is well built.
WHAT IT IS NOT:
1 – This is (probably) not a PRIMARY use laptop computer all by itself – nope, it is (probably) too small to use all day long to give you the “full laptop experience” BUT the Go2 stays SYNCHRONIZED with your main rig(s) and when you come back to your main machine(s) everything is in step in with what you just did on your Go2 and you just sit down and pick up where you left off. If you have modest computing needs and want to stick with the Go2 as your primary rig, then there is a docking station and/or USB3 port if you need to connect larger monitors, keyboard, mouse - and Bluetooth is built in if you want to use that for your peripherals.
2 – This is not a GAMING rig – nope nope nope do NOT think you will play ANY modern games on this little machine – older games or the simpler web-based games work just fine. However, if you want to comfortably hold something small in your hands to work on adult business and/or educational stuff – get a Go2. It should be said that there are PLENTY of entertaining games that can run very well on the Go2 if you need a little break or for winding down after a hard day’s work, so that’s a plus for the Go2 but there is a limit to the level of complexity that it can handle with gaming software. Be advised.
3 – Please! This is NOT a “Toy” for the kids – the Go2 is small, but it’s NOT a “toy computer.” It is an amazingly small, fully functional, well-engineered Windows 10 machine. If you want the kids to have a laptop to “play” with then get them an inexpensive or refurbished device so when they take it in the shower to watch a video while they lather up or use it as a digital Frisbee you won’t have a melt-down. If you want the kids to have a small computer of their very own that they can LEARN with, or STUDY with, or SCHOOL with, then here you Go2.
4 – This is not a PURE tablet experience – this is Windows 10 and thus is not designed for “pure” use as a tablet device. You are purchasing a small W10 computer, so a keyboard is called for – look for the ‘package deals’ that knock off a few bucks with the added keyboard. The tablet mode (remove the keyboard) works very nicely for note-taking and videos and small-group presentation and sharing pictures and even catching a video or two when you are settling down for the evening or taking a break – all these are good functions and tablet mode is GREAT in these situations. The Go2 as a tablet fits VERY nicely in your hands, has smooth and comfortable edges, and a big enough screen to work well in tablet mode... BUT you will WANT to be able to pop on a keyboard so you can get some work done on documents, emails, presentations – all the things you would like to be able to do on a small portable computer when you are out and about and on the go – which is EXACTLY what the Go2 is for!
What you will LOVE about the Go2:
“Hello Windows” Facial Recognition – turn it on, look at it, there you go. If you haven’t seen or used the facial recognition unlock feature for Windows – it is a warm and fuzzy experience. Noice!
“Instant On” – close the lid, go to the next place, open the lid – it really is “instantly” ON right where you left off. I gotta admit that’s one thing I always did LOVE about some other devices that were out there, and now it really really really works with a Windows portable. Noice!
Windows Sync and OneDrive/SharePoint Sync – all your settings, documents, browser history, sticky notes, OneNote, TEAMs, etc etc etc – EVERYTHING is synched with your desktop and/or laptop whether they are at home, at work, or both. I promise – I have several laptops and desktops spread out at home and work, and I can sit down at ANY of them and they are all working together to keep me going smoothly. Adding a Go2 to the mix was quick and seamless.
IT’S ONLINE MEETING TIME! >> Front/Back cameras, stereo speakers, dual studio microphones >> all of which are pretty darn good: With online meetings becoming the “new normal” – having a sweet little computer that will hold it’s own in a TEAMs, Skype, or ZOOM meeting is very handy. You could very easily use this little critter for your meetings while you keep your work tasks going on another rig without having to stop everything to join in another “yawn” online collaboration or try to use the TEAMs app on your little bitty phone. If you are “out and about” when the meeting is scheduled to start, the Go2 gives you a high-quality video and sound feed.
What you want to get along with your Go2 chassis (HINT: look for the “package deals” to save on the accessories):
1 – Get the keyboard – unsurpassed design with tactile keypress and BACKLIGHTING! The Go2 is not intended to be a tablet at all times for all purposes. It is a Windows 10 machine and for that you will want to have the option of using a keyboard with a (very nice) built-in trackpad. Go fancy with the nice Alcantara Signature cover – you deserve it and for a few bucks more it really looks nice and complements the appearance of the Go2 case. Save a few bucks and get the black plastic cover if you like, but really the Alcantara is a nice touch, looks great.
2 – Get a tempered glass screen protector. Enough said. Gorilla Glass is a fantastic material, but Stuff Happens - don't let it happen to your Go2.
3 – Get a protective case if you are going to be out and about in an environment where drops and rubs and scratches are par for the course. Indoor only or “soft” use outside, the Go2 is metal case and very durable, but if you are banging around at work (or play) a case may come in handy and keep your Go2 looking at its best when you are back inside and want to show it off.
4 – Get a Surface Pen? Well, maybe and it really comes in handy for taking notes and highlighting text when you are in the tablet mode. If you are looking at the Go2 for note-taking like OneNote or similar software, you will be deee-lighted at how nicely a pen helps you be more productive and creative with your note taking and doodles during meetings.
SPENDING YOUR ACTUAL MONEY:
OK that’s about it and if you are like me you don’t want to waste your money and you have spent a week staying up late going around on YouTube looking at unboxings and Googling “Microsoft Surface Go 2” to read the reviews. Do your research and go to BestBuy and put your hands on one and then make up your mind. You can tell I am really pleased with my Go2. Honestly, I am not the fan-boy type and have been going through little portable devices starting with the Casio SF-8000 in 1990 and I think the Go2 is what I have been looking for all these years.

HP - ENVY 6055 Wireless All-In-One Instant Ink-Ready Inkjet Printer - White
The style will make you smile…
It seems that with HP the “ENVY” designation is used for their recent devices that have a modern style with a smooth and sleek appearance. I have an HP “ENVY” laptop that is very stylish, and this “ENVY” printer has the same modern appearance with a low profile and smooth, rounded lines. Very attractive printer for a desktop, and also very compact considering all the different functions. This definitely doesn’t “look like a printer” in the traditional sense – very modern and almost a decorative accessory. HP seems to be going for the “Jetsons” look with this one as they have added a “light strip” to the front of the printer that changes colors when the printer is performing different functions.
Setup for the printer is very easy, with a step-by-step guide using an app (you will want to download the app as the first step in setting up the printer). Very quick to download and install the app to do the setup and control the printer. The app is pretty much essential as there is not the typical “touch screen” display on the printer, just a multi-colored light strip and a few small buttons. I’m not much for remembering what button does which on any device, and the app takes care of it and gives total control over the printer, and monitors the printer health, ink levels, and ink refill schedule if you use the automatic refill program.
Any of the devices on the house network - computers, tablets, phones – all of them can connect and print. My wife really likes this as she can be in the living room on her Chromebook or her phone and print out coupons and recipes and bits of juicy gossip from her FaceBook Page and even plain paper pictures without having to get up from her chair. Her majesty is pleased! i won't say who collects the printouts and takes them to the royal throne, but it isn't her majesty and I haven't quite trained the dog to be a courier... at least not yet. Slipping in some photo paper for a nice color print is very quick and easy, but please don't tell 'the royal presence' as that will be another item added to the court jester's "to do" list. Thanks and I owe you one!
… about the ink deal >> when you are setting up the printer it asks if you want to sign up for the ink replacement/refill program… I suggest you go ahead and “accept” the ink program to make the setup go a LOT smoother, and then give it some more thought and continue or cancel the program as you desire. If you are going to be doing a good bit of printing, especially color prints or photographs, the discount you get with the automatic ink replacement is probably a good deal. If this is a “couple of pages a day” machine, then you might want to buy ink as you need it. Keep in mind that this printer does a pretty good job with pictures and of course if you have purchased a birthday or “special day” card lately, being able to print some nice cards (in full color) for special occasions instead of dropping an UNBELIEVABLE amount of money on “Happy Birthday” and “Thinking of You” cards at the store might make this printer your best money-saving device in the house! Everyone’s phone seems to have a bazillion pictures, as well, and a few of your best selfies or “bestest friend” photos to frame up or stick to the refrigerator let you get full use of the photo printing. It's mighty handy (and nice) to have a photo printer around the house!
Speaking of color printing, you can get some very nice photo prints from the ENVY. The colors are very bright and clear, and if photo printing is new to you, try some different photo papers to see how a glossy finish compares to a matte finish on the paper you are using. Sometimes folks jump right to the “glossy” thinking that will produce the best results, but honestly unless it is a photo that really needs the finest detail possible like a scenic landscape (Grand Canyon?), the matte finish paper looks better for those pictures of friends and family.
The only consideration I would suggest before purchase is if you plan to use this a “home office” machine and will need to do a lot of duplex (2-sided) copies or scans OR if you need high-speed copying. For duplex, you have to manually flip the documents as there is no automatic sheet feeder for copies or scans. The speed of the machine is not exactly slow slow slow, but it does take it’s time making copies or printing documents, photos at highest resolution take their sweet time but that's normal and it gives the colors a chance to set properly. If it’s just an occasional need, I wouldn’t be concerned as it keeps the price down and less machinery to jam. If you are going to be doing a lot of duplex copies and scans, you may want to bump up a model or two and get a “home office” machine that can handle more complex jobs.
Other than that one consideration, this is a very nice machine in terms of appearance, good construction, and the nicest “style” for a printer I have seen. You won’t be hiding this one under the desk or on a shelf out of the way, it really is a “modern looking” asset to the appearance of the “computer corner” or game room. Turn off the lights when you send a print job, and enjoy the ENVY “light show” while it prints.

Logitech is hard to beat for keyboards and mice, and they made a good move here by updating their “old reliable” 2017 model “Prodigy” model 203 gaming mouse and releasing this updated version of “LightSync” model 203. Combine this sanely-priced RGB mouse with an RGB keyboard using the GHUB software, and you will complete a nice desktop display that is synchronized and fully customizable. As said, this pretty much looks the same as the older Prodigy model, with improved performance on the DPI and some improvements on the lighting (seems brighter and smoother – maybe). 6 buttons which are entirely programmable with the GHUB software – set them up to do anything you would like and quickly switch gaming profiles for customized button functions/macros. Nothing is missing from this nicely priced mouse and a good one to “pack and go” without having to worry about misplacing or “evaporating” your gamer mouse. If you missed out on the Prodigy model and are looking for a nice gaming mouse with customizable RGB that doesn’t strain the wallet – this is a good choice. Maybe a nice “surprise gift” for the younger gamer that is getting a little bored with the isolation from social distancing and would appreciate a little pick-me-up with a new mouse to fiddle around with. Keyboards and Mice come and go – Logitech is almost always the better choice and no question they are here to stay and doing the work to improve their products over time.

Actually the "top of the line" G910 gaming keyboard was marked down to a lower price when I got this, but too much "gamer" stuff on the G910 and not for an 'older professional' who wants to appear more mature than his 13-year-old gaming son. IMO the G910 wasn't selling as well as hoped, and the G810 is (to me) the superior model in design, appearance, and performance. This G810 looks professional on the desk, has OUTSTANDING color display (note that the 'special' keys on the number keys are also illuminated -- missing on many of the other illuminated keyboards - aren't these ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) the ones you can never remember when typing in the dark?), no "bottom of the keys" light spillover that takes away from the illumination focus, superior engineering on the Romer-G switches (Check out the tour of the Romer-G factory in Japan on YouTube), and feels like a BRICK in the hand (a GOOD BRICK) with heavy-duty construction. The 3-way adjustable tilt and huge rubber feet on the bottom will keep this from sliding around on any desk, including glass-tops. The only thing that makes this look like a "gamer rig" is the FABULOUS and CRISP color displays... which are easy to see even with the lights on in the room > fully adjustable to get it just the way you want at home or at work. I may be an old-timer, but I don't mind showing off a little bit and this keyboard is an EYE-CATCHER when the lights start doing the 'wave' across the keyboard! I read all the reviews and fiddled with the keyboards on display and there seem to be "Logitech Nay-Sayers" who can't bear the idea of using anything other than the older design "cherry" keys. I have gone from manual touch-typing > to I B M Selectric > to I B M 'clicky' keyboard (still one of my favorites) > to membranes > to whatever-cheapo-keyboard Dell includes in their educational computers > to a Saitek PK17U Cyborg > to this keyboard. This one is the best by FAR! Re: keys... you get a little 'click' so the sound and some tactile/touch reinforcement for keyboarding (typing) is there, but not too loud and for me just enough to let me know I hit the key. Yes it feels different from the cheapo Dell keyboard i just unplugged and replaced, but every keyboard is different and this one feels like driving a luxury car! Speaking of my son, he is now looking over at my new keyboard and looking at his illuminated keyboard and I think I know what he will be asking for come Christmas. Fortunately, the box still had the promotion of free download and activation code for "The Division" so the kid has something to keep him busy until Santa Claus comes. If you are an old crab like me, but like a little 'sizzle' when using your computer and want to treat yourself to a smooth-as-silk keyboard... this is the one I would recommend. Leave the "whoopee" keyboards to the kids. PS - you can hit a quick button on the keyboard and turn off the light display if you want to turn off the light show for a while.
Mentioned that my son was keeping an eye on my G810 from the get-go... first time I let him 'test drive' my G810 he says "ooooh, that feels nice" and decided he wanted to go to mechanical keyboard. He has a 'gamer' RBD keyboard (non-mechanical) with extra bells and whistles he has been using for a year or two, but instantly fell in love with the mechanical feel. Just gave him a "Week before Christmas" present of his own G810. He had his pick of the models available, and after tapping some keys and looking at the different models chose to get the G810. Just goes to show the "fancy schmancy" keyboards might look more-cooler-better but the proof is in the feel of the keys. It's a keyboard, after all.

Oh my goodness! You must have been shipped the Australian model that is used south of the equator! LOL but seriously folks simply hit ctrl+shift+refresh. The refresh key is the one with the spinning arrow. It'll rotate the screen 90 degrees. Do that again since 90+90=180 degrees which is half-way round the circle. Peace out...

Does this game as of 7/15/16 still come w/ a free The Division key?
I just picked one up 8/21/16 and it had the "Offer" logo on the box and a cupon inside.... should be good to go as long as your box has the "Offer" logo on it....
