Learn more about Kinect Sports. (Flash demo) Jump into the court, charge into the stadium and climb into the ring — there's a major sports competition going on, and you're at the center of the action. When the volleyball rockets through the air toward the edge of the boundary line, dive toward the ground, scoop your arms down and bump it up for your teammate to spike with all of her might. When you hear your opponent breathing down your neck, step it up and jump even faster over hurdles. When you sense a weak moment in the boxing ring, jab your rival in the stomach and watch him fall to the ground. You have the power to win — it's been in your body all along. The real all-stars of sports don't use buttons or joysticks on the paths to victory — so why should you? Leave your controller in the locker room and step out into the competition with the best tool you have — yourself. In Kinect Sports, real athletic action springs to life in your living room, and it's all controlled with the motions you make. Revolutionary motion-sensing technology recognizes you as you power through six intense sports, making you a true athletic champion. Whether you play on your own or on a team, Kinect Sports will test your limits and bring you glory — if you can handle the action.

Great party game!!!

This is the first game I bought after buying a Kinect. It is sooooo much fun! I really enjoyed the soccer and bowling. Volleyball and boxing was fun. I would have liked to see a basketball, football, tennis, baseball or skiing game instead of the table tennis.
It is a lot of fun to play with a group of people, or even by yourself against the computer. The video it captures of you and plays at the end of the game is priceless. I also love the fact that you have the option to upload it online and share with friends.
What's great about it: Hours of fun, great games!
What's not so great: Could have replace table tennis with a more fun game
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing!!!!

I waited to buy this during the holiday return period so I could have a bit longer to test it out. Well I opened it up and CAN'T STOP PLAYING!!! This thing is seriously addicting. My jaw was on the floor when I saw the Kinect sensor adjust iteself when my boyfriend stepped in to play a game with me. You can even set up your Kinect to recognize your face so when it sees you it signs in to your Xbox profile. If you're playing a game and step-out it will take your Xbox Avatar off screen. If you replace someone in a game when it sees your face it will change to your avatar. After you finish a level or short game the Kinect has a couple of snapshots or video of you (or your friends if you're playing with someone). They're hillarious and uploadable. The Kinect Adventure game that is included with the connect is fun....for about 20 mins..... After hooking it up and playing for an hour I rushed to Best Buy to purchase two more games. I was tempted to call out of work today to stay home and play!
You really will get a workout. I woke up with sore shoulder and calves. As for the space issue, I was able to play on my own with 5 1/2 feet of space. I moved my couch and played in about 6 1/2 feet of space with my boyfriend (we were in the "better" play, not the "good"). You will need to make sure you have good lighting in the room you're playing.
If you're skeptical I recommend buying it and testing it out. Anything purchased after Nov 1st qualifes for a holiday return (January something) so you can test it out. I guarantee you'll end up keeping it and rushing out to buy more games!
What's great about it: Technology, value for your dollar
What's not so great: I'll let you know when I think of something ;)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this game for my 10 year old cousin. Thought it would be a fun and entertaining game. Started off great, but then all of a sudden it took a nose dive. The brainteasers went from simple to complex. Don't know what they were thinking when they developed this game for children. Most of the puzzles are WAY to advanced for children. They should at least have different difficulty levels to chose to play at (like beginner, intermediate, and expert) that way children can play easy puzzles while teens and adults can have more challenging puzzles. Would not recommend this as a gift for a child, unless they're in MENSA!
What's not so great: The brainteasers

HSM: Senior Year

Quality is amazing on Blu-Ray. I waited till this movie was released to buy the first two on Blu-Ray as well. I figured Disney would have had them in some sort of trilogy package, unfortunately they didn't. I still purchased all 3 of them for $60 so I can't complain. The great thing about this movie on BluRay is that it comes with a digital copy for your iPod, plus a DVD version to play on your DVD players (or to loan to friends who don't have a Blu-Ray player). It also comes packed with tons of EXTRAS: Bloopers, deleted scenes, cast goodbyes, dance rehersals, new cast introductions, sing-along version, etc...
I would have liked them to have a "what's what" option to pop-up during the movie. Disney channel sometimes has "what what" editions aired that give you interesting little facts. They pop up in the movie and for fans of the HSM series it's they're fun to read.
What's great about it: Everything!

Do you sell the DS consoles? All I see are the DSi - don't know if those features are appropriate for an 8 year old.

They're are two different Nintendo DS systems. The DS Lite and the DSi. If you're buying for a child I'd recommend the DS Lite. It's cheaper and is backward compatible (you can play GameBoy Advance games on it). If you wanted to pay the extra $40 and go with the DSi for the added features you could get the DSi for a child and just activate the parental controls on it.

Yes they sell it, but I don't know if they have the bundled package anymore. They definitely sell the original Rockband game though.
