I preorederd this as soon as I read it could accommodate some eye glasses , I owned the one sold for the S6 & S6 edge and ended up selling it because It was always blurry and I can't buy contacts in my prescription
I'm very happy with the changes they made and all the new content available especially Netflix and the Oculus cinema they now have Movies you can buy they do say movie rentals are coming soon Which will be even better.
The only reason I didn't give this 5 star's is because unlike the first 2 Gear VR they released this one doesn't come with any type of carrying case or a lens cleaning cloth
I don't know why they made the choice not to include even a cloth bag like they did with the 2nd Gear VR because you have nothing to store it in when your not using it or if you take it somewhere.
Other than that this one is by far the best Gear VR out of the 3 if you have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or S6 , S6 edge or S6 edge + this is a must have I would just suggest buying something you can safely store it in

I had read the reviews on these from Cnet and other Techmagazines and they we're all glowing and after finding out if I ordered them in the store they could help me buy a Geek Squad protection plan for them (Something you can't do online for some reason)
That clinched it so I bit the bullet and bought them and a 2 year Geek Squad protection plan. And when they arrived at my house I put them on plugged them into my phone and was blown away.
I've never heard such beautiful sound from Headphones and the use of an analog amp instead of Dsp was not only brilliant but go's a long way to making these a music lovers dream set of headphones.

Previously, I purchased the Netgear X6, but I returned it for the Netgear X-8. Prior to purchasing the Netgear X6 & X-8, my son would complain about buffering issues on his iPhone or iPad while watching Netflix or YouTube in his room. The Netgear X-6 fixed that issue, but when Netgear released the X-8, I was willing to pay $100 more because of the specs. With the Netgear X-8, I streamed Netflix, Hulu plus, HBO NOW, and YouTube in HD simultaneously on a X-box one, three iPads, and three iPhones in my son's room. There wasn't any buffering issues w/ any device (Note: the max speed from my ISP is 24 Mbps). The Netgear X-8 performs likes a beast, and it doesn't look cheap.

Yes I currently own the X6 tri band and just found they have come out with the X8 and I was wondering since you have owned both is there a big enough difference in the speed to justify returning my X6 and paying the extra $100+ for the X8?

If you are trying to choose between these Sony's and the Bose it's not entirely straight forward. Gonna hafta see which of the featues benefits and pricepoints matter most to you. The audio quality is a massive stepup from the cheap headphones / earbuds included with devices, but not quite as good as the Bose will deliver. Yet the Sony's will continue to function as headphones (albeit at lower audio quality) when the battery runs out where the Bose are dead til recharged. Further the Sony's run on common AAA size where Bose are sealed units. For myself I need to have Noise cancelling WHEN I need it period and have large set of high quality rechargable AAA Panasonic Eneloops and swap out as needed. The build quality on both are great, quite comfortable, and was quite comfortable wearing either. The Sony's are pricey, but a meaningful step down from the Bose price point. Obviously I chose the Sony's but which pair is right for your needs comes down to what features benefits etc matter in your own usage.

I'm not sure which Bose Headphones your comparing these to so I can't say out outright that your wrong.
I can say that the Bose QuietComfort 25 Noise Cancelling Headphones ARE NOT A CLOSED SYSTEM And also use a single AAA battery to power the Noise Cancelling feature and if the Single AAA battery goes dead they will continue playing music albeit at a lower sound quality like you indicated these Sony Headphones do
The Bose are slightly more expensive but it comes down to what type of sound experience your looking for the Bose QuietComfort 25 Noise Cancelling headphones have a lighter sound where these Sony are said to have a good strong base.
I own the Bose QuietComfort 25 NC headphones but after reading the reviews on these Sony Headphones I'm very tempted to spend the Money for these as a second pair.

They finally relized not everyone can see without glasses so on this model they made it so it will accommodate most types of Eye Glasses

will this work with the note 4 or is this just another way to make you go out and buy a new phone.

But these have an adjustable mount for the phone to accommodate the different sizes of the above phones so you could try just keep your receipt in case it doesn't

its says there whole 2015 line so i hope but ik the active had issues working with the S6 innovator

Fan and charger
I have 2 Gear VR Goggles and 2 Note 4s because I love them so much. But I want the Note 5. So will this new model fit the Note 5 and is it worth it. I heard the new models also have built in fans, charging ports and are lighter. Is this all true? Let me know please.
The new one does work for the Note 5 it's adjustable so it also works with the S6 Edge + & the S6 & S6 edge
I'm not sure about an actual fan but I believe your correct and it does have a charging port so you don't have to run down your phone's battery they are definitely lighter than the one that came out for the S6 & S6 edge earlier this year.
But unlike both previous models they got cheap and didn't include anything to store or carry them in, I believe the first one came with a hard case and I had the 2nd one and it came with a cloth bag
You get nothing to put this one in when your not using it but that's the only bad mark against them
