PLEASE CHECK YOUR DRIVE BEFORE YOU ADD YOUR DATA!!

Before I begin, please be aware I have gone through 4 of these drives.
All from Bestbuy, and all failed.
Each drive was run with Seagate's own HDD utility.
The first drive was the only one to pass the testing on the utility, but failed only a week after. (had only 200 GBs of data written (PC back Up, and misc files) only to fail and not be recognized on startup.

All 3 other drives also failed, and when attempting to write the system back up files, would either error, or fail and begin clicking.

I swapped the 4th drive for a WD MyBook 8TB and currently have filled over 3TB of Data on it, and all seems fine, loads when powered on, and accesses files quckly.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS DRIVE, AND URGE EVERYONE THAT PURCHASES IT TO PLEASE RUN A LONG TEST BEFORE ADDING ANY OF YOUR PRECIOUS DATA TO IT!!!
