Kanye has grown alot since his first album "The College Dropout". Hes had alot of expansion since then, teh classic hip-hop of "Late Registration" to the sci-fi technological "Graduation". "808s and Heartbreaks" gets away from his college related success to SING, not rap, about an everyday issue thats also a leading cause of depression and suicide. You never really know how yor modd is untill you hear someone elses tradgedy. Kanye has been helping me get through times since "Late". With such diversity he has trandcended from being Number 1 hip-hop to most realistic performer. Other artist who have gone from one style to th enext and did it well, such as, Bob Dylan, Thelonious Monk, Tom Waits, MIchael Jackson, Miles Davis, Prince, Sam Cooke, And Ray CHarles. We add another name to that bill, KANYE WEST.
What's great about it: kanye breaks down his egotitical exterior and shows us hes simply a man.
What's not so great: the only bad is the auto-tune hes using, showing us that music is nothing but a fad.
