This is a great CD to get relaxed with!

I listened to this album with kids ages 10 and 14, and we all found it enjoyable. Our favorite song was 'Kandi', but all of the songs were fun, with a nice mellow beat and nothing objectionable. Hearing this CD makes me want to see the band in person. This is a great selection of songs for a long ride, when you're stuck in traffic, or when you're home and just trying to mellow out.
What's great about it: nice tunes with thoughtful lyrics
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first album of Brandi Carlile's I have listened to but I have heard her music on radio and TV. She has a great voice and her lyrics are clever and meaningful. She does a great job with both mellow and upbeat songs. All the songs are great but my favorite is Dreams
What's great about it: VERY ENJOYABLE ALBUM!

Marvelously mellow....

I've always been wild about Harry, but this album is mellower than his usual. Well crafted and easy to listen to, it sets a relaxing vibe that someone with a hectic life can appreciate. It provides unique versions of popular songs from the last 5 decades. 'Close to You' is my particular favorite.
What's great about it: easy listening mellow music
What's not so great: Not exactly what I'd call 'peppy'

Joshua Bell's latest features an intriguing variety of songs and some interesting 'guest stars'- Kristen Chenoweth, Josh Groban, Sting, Marvin Hamlisch. This album is a great way to distract yourself in traffic. Being a huge fan of Ms. Chenoweth, my favorite selection is 'My Funny Valentine'. I would DEFINITELY recommend this CD to friends!
What's great about it: Really beautiful music that's easy to listen to!

Great for Summer Relaxation!

This is my first experience with Diane Birch. Her voice intrigues me- she's like a mix of Patsy Cline, Carole King and Joss Stone, and yet she's very unique. Her songs range from mellow to upbeat, and there's not a bad one in the bunch. I hope Diane tries country next.
What's great about it: Great mix of songs, talented artist

Pleasantly surprised!

I've been an admirer of Il Divo for quite some time, but this is the first album of theirs that I've owned. I am very happy with the beautiful vocals and intriguing song selection. I love their version of The Winner Takes It All, and Amazing Grace is marvelous also. This CD is both uplifting and soothing. Well Done! I think Santa needs to bring me some more Il Divo!!
What's great about it: Beautiful music to take the edge off a bad day
What's not so great: no bad points to speak of
