Season 2 of the hit mockumentary opens with the hardly coveted Dundie Awards, the annual ceremony honoring Scranton employees in such esteemed categories as Hottest in the Office and Whitest Tennis Shoes. In a typical move, regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) emcees the show and picks the winners-but doesn't pick up the tab. In other Michael developments, he spies on staffers' emails, mistakes an IT guy for a terrorist, burns his foot while cooking bacon bedside, and becomes a reluctant homeowner. He does manage to find some success in the dating department. He goes out with his likable real-estate agent Carol (played by Carell's wife Nancy Walls) and hooks up with his recently divorced no-nonsense boss Jan Levinson (Melora Hardin). The latter affair starts as a one-night stand but leads to a slightly warped (and somewhat imagined in Michael's eyes) love triangle between the three. In other office romances, Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) and Angela Martin (Angela Kinsey) start a top-secret love affair, Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling) crushes on Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak), and Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) continues dating Katy (Amy Adams), the "hot girl" he met in the Season 1 finale. But it's Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) whom he not-so-secretly pines for, even though she's engaged (for three years and counting) to insensitive warehouse worker Roy (David Denman). Much to Jim's dismay, Roy finds a moment of drunken clarity on Michael's ill-fated booze cruise and finally sets a date for his and Pam's wedding. Pam's thrilled at first, but then she starts thinking beyond the reception desk when a Women in the Workplace seminar inspires her to attend art school. Jim wholeheartedly encourages the idea, which is quickly shot down by Roy, planting seeds of doubt in Pam's mind about whether Roy is really the right guy for her.

This season has the hilarious "Dundies" Episode, where Michael Scott decides to give out awards to boost morale around the office. Apparently it is an annual award ceremony. The awards range from the "Don't Go In There After Me" award, in which Kevin once stunk up the bathroom and Michael walked in there after him, and the "Bushiest Beaver" award. Hilarious. There is also commentary for this show which has a few of the actors and writers. The commentary could be its own show! Also, "Dwight's Speech" is on this season, in which Dwight has to give a speech because he was awarded with Salesman of the Year. Dwight has a problem speaking in public, so Jim decides to give him so timeless advice from such public speakers as Adolf Hitler and Mussolini...classic. Definitely worth the purchase!
What's great about it: Great Special Features
What's not so great: Nothing

This deadpan release from the American version of the comedy series The Office includes all six episodes from the show's first season, following the everyday misadventures of an extremely earnest and extremely tactless regional branch manager at a paper company, and the employees forced to deal with him.

I have watched this show randomly on television whenever there wasn't anything on. I didn't like it much. However, when my husband purchased the seasons consecutively, I couldn't get enough. You will find yourself getting involved with the characters, all the while laughing at all the pranks played on Dwight, one of the biggest nerds you'll ever fall in love with. Jim is the ultimate cool guy who is crushing on the receptionist, Pam, who is engaged to Roy who works in the warehouse. And let's not forget Michael Scott, the self-proclaimed "World's Best Boss" whose very open non-gay attraction to Ryan the Temp will leave you on the floor laughing. His constant need to be everyone's friend in the office causes quite a bit of conflict between him and the Corporate Office. Let's not forget the fact that he tries to bring humor to the office by having "Fun-raisers" and many, many birthday parties. This purchase, whether bought here or somewhere else (wherever the price may be lower) is worth it. I've been recommending the show to everyone!

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!

This show truly seems it has captured the essence of prison life. There is a separation among groups, so every group is constantly at war, trying to get control of the drug smuggling, which makes for a very interesting plot. You never know who is in charge, or if they'll stay alive. Loyalty is a word loosely thrown around in a world where all you desire is parole: the chance to be free and live the life you once had .
This is definitely a show for ADULTS only. There is a lot of violence as well as SC and nudity.
What's great about it: It seems like this show has truly caught what prison life may be like for those in it.
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
