Good - the reader worked with all media I tested.
Bad - the reader was almost always slower than my old USB 2 reader; reader feels cheap.

I have a 6 year old USB 2 media reader and another USB 3 media reader, both made by Transcend. This Insignia reader was half the speed of my old USB 2 reader and didn't come that close to the USB 3 reader (exception being Compact Flash, where this reader was faster than my USB 2 reader and about half as fast as my other USB 3 reader). This Insignia reader also feels cheap to the touch and cards don't insert smoothly.
Don't waste your time waiting on this reader to do its job, instead look elsewhere.
