Not even in a pinch!

I purchased this filter because I was in a pinch and needed one right away; my other Circular Polarizer got scratched and I didn't want to take a chance.
I checked with local camera shops and nobody had a 67mm filter in stock; so I went to Best Buy.
(I will do without next time!)
I am a semi-professional photographer and 98% of my lens filters are Hoya multi-coated.
Enough about that, now about the "Sunpak Platinum Plus 67mm Circular Polarizer".
To keep it simple,TROUBLE. Very light lens tint; almost no tinting at all. When and if you can get it to thread onto your lens and begin to adjust the filter for the shot, it is very hard to tell if the polarizer is even doing its job.
I take pictures with 12 mega pixal camera and when I use this filter it softens the shot so much it comes out looking like a 6 MP. I can not blow up the print without it distorting the image. The rotation of this polarizer is touchy. Several times I started to unscrew it from the lens because it would rotate properly. It also has a bad fit where the two parts come together. The filter I purchased would actually lean forward a degree or two. I really did think that the front half of the filter was going to fall off a couple of times.
I am not blaming Best Buy for the quality of this product; that is Sunpak's fault. I am blaming Best Buy for caring this low quality product. Pull this line from your shelf and replace it with something better. Some people come into Best Buy to purchase DSLR's such as Nikon's D80, D90 or Cannon's EOS series cameras. These people don't spend $1000.00+ for a camera and then want a $19.95 filter with it.
So come out of pocket, spend the money and buy a good quality filter! Unless of course you want a really unique coaster.
What's great about it: When I find out I'll be sure to tell you.(doubles as a coaster)
What's not so great: Poor performance,no index marking, decreases the sharpness of photos
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This multimedia speaker system features 2-1/4" drivers for crystal-clear sound, ideal for augmenting your computer's audio capability. The system powers directly from a USB port without the need for a separate power source.

used for a college dorm, good price and good volume. wouldn't recommend for if you want a large volume and sub-woofer range.

Truth in a Review
November 21, 2010
Here is my review on the Axis speaker system.....
Hold a piece of wax paper up to your lips then take an old metal can and place it close to your mouth. Now sing your favorite song though the wax paper and in to the metal can.
Do you like that buzzing sound the wax paper gives you and odd echo sound from the can?
If you answered yes, then these are the speakers for you.
Wait theres more! If you call now you will get the volume knob thats crackles and pops more then those breakfast guys we've all come to love; Absolutely Free of charge!!!
They are Horible even as a starter set. I got these to test out then I was going to give it to a friend of mine who really could use some speakers. Instead I gave them to the city trash man!
