Explore the great outdoors while listening to your favorite tunes with this EcoCarbon waterproof portable speaker. The built-in power bank charges your portable devices, and the LED battery meter lets you know when this speaker needs to charge. Capable of floating, this EcoCarbon waterproof portable speaker is an ideal accessory for the pool.

A+ functionality. C+ sound quality.

I got this on sale over half off the MSRP. So far, I'm mostly happy with this purchase.
My intended use for this is attached to my kayak and also by the pool.
First impressions:
WEIGHT:
The unit feels well constructed with a nice rubberized grip all around the edge. It has some weight to it due to the large battery presumably, but not too heavy for its intended use (I would not take it for a very long hike).
BLUETOOTH:
Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone 6 was easy and the range is good - at least 30ft.
SOUND QUALITY:
Volume is suitable for outdoor use. Mid-range is punchy. However, there is noticeable distortion in the high-range such as on vocals -- even at only 75% volume. It is difficult to compare sound quality fairly because this is my only submersible speaker. I have a Rugged Rukus which is also battery powered, and the EcoGear has much higher max volume but more distortion to the point that it is not really usable over 75% volume. -1 star for high-end distortion.
Mobile Submission: False

Must-have for Blu Ray

Can't turn off the PS3 with remote.
Sometimes when you try to fast-forward a BluRay it gets all confused and gets stuck in slow-forward mode. Not sure if this is the remote or the PS3 itself.
This should really be free with PS3.
What's great about it: Controls Blu-Ray playback
What's not so great: No power button. Weird bugs. Should be included with PS3.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amplify your audio while on the go with this JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker. This IPX7-certified water-resistant speaker lets you enjoy music without worrying about rain or poolside splashes. The integrated audio cable lets you easily connect your device to this JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker, and the built-in carabiner keeps it secure.

Would you consider this as a decent speaker to use with a desktop computer? Thanks

It has an Aux input so it could easily be used with a desktop.

Sound quality is not nearly as good as even a cheap set of PC speakers with a dedicated subwoofer.
