I was looking for a portable monitor and I came across this one The idea sounded great and the price was good, but the product did not meet my expectations. One is is NOT plug and play... You have to install a driver on your computer in order to use it... The cd it comes with is only for windows operating systems, if you have a Mac you have to download the driver from the Internet. Two I use it as a second monitor and originally it was the main monitor but it response time after the computer powered up was way too long in ocassions I has to unplug it and lug it back in in order for it to response and even had to force a shutdown... So annoying that I settled to have it as a second monitor. The colors are fine and all but I don't think it compensates for the aggravation of installation and response time. I didn't return it because I really needed the extra monitor but I am not to happy about it. Also it doesn't have a power button... I think that would help with the response time. And a bit disappointed although it does its work once is properly installed and running... But if I was you I would save me the aggregation.
What's great about it: The size is good
What's not so great: Response time is bad, NOT plug and play
It's an amazing documentary that simply explains things without making up lies or stories. If one does not the answer... why make up one! .. or 2 or 3 Where we come from and where are we going? We don't know... let's just live life as it is!
What's great about it: The Content
What's not so great: Who really needs to see it I bet won't see it
The producers of Planet Earth explore some truly remarkable creatures and their unique habitats, many of which have never been captured on camera before. Star nosed moles, Zambian bats, and the Vogelkop bowerbird are just a few of the creature's you'll encounter as the filmmakers take viewers to distant continents, using state-of-the-art filming techniques to drift along with migrating elephants, soar through the sky with monarch butterflies, and witness a mating battle (also known as a "heat run") between male humpback whales. A two week visit with some Komodo dragons allows us to witness with striking detail how the mighty, ancient beasts can manage the unique feat of taking down an animal that towers over them in size. The series concludes with a "making-of" special which reveals how the dedicated filmmakers worked for more than four years to deliver a nature series with the power to take your breath away. Narrated by David Attenborugh.

Go for this one!!!! Sir David Attenborough's narration is more engaging; he brings excitement and a sound of knowledge and confindence on the subject can be well perceived in his tone of voice. Whereas Ophra Winfrey's narration style feels like she is reading it straight from a book... in other words is like a audio book with beautiful HD quality images. The documentary loses the energy and excitement. Definately this version is the one to get!!!
