FUN AND ENTERTAINING!

This film won't win any awards, but it is the most entertaining film I have seen in several years. I knew nothing about it and had barely even heard of it before watching, but boy was I surprised. Everything from the humor to the car chase scene is tops and will keep you involved. The plot, while a bit shallow, is somewhat believable, but who cares. It's a fun movie. See if you can catch the subtle reference one of Travolta's classic films. I laughed my a__ off. If you like action and humor, you gotta see this. And don't forget to watch the Special Features. They are especially interesting.
What's great about it: Action. Humor, Stunts. Special Effects. Cinematography.
What's not so great: I don't own it yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best of the Best Sci-Fi

One of the best sci-fi movies ever created. Made the year after I was born, I've been watching this film since I was a kid. It gets better every time I see it. The 1951 special effects were very believable (especially when I was a kid). None of this CGA crapp that makes today's movies little more than cartoons. I have owned it on VHS for years, and I am so excited about it's release now on DVD and Blue-Ray. The movie actually has a moral lesson that should speak to all of us. Don't miss this one.
What's great about it: Before its time special effects. Great moral lesson.
What's not so great: Too short.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LCD VS. DLP

Which TV is a better buy, LCD or DLP? I am looking for clarity for gaming, DVD's and High Definition cable. Do either of these have maintenance? I really don't want to go over kill on price but money isn't a problem.
I recently purchased a Samsung 52 " LCD. I was told while shopping around that if I was going to place the set in a relatively low light room, the DLP would be fine, but my den has too many windows, so I opted for the LCD. I replaced an old 60" rear projection set which still worked fine, but the difference in picture quality is amazing. I liked the DLP because you can buy them in the 60-65" at much less than the LCD's, however, I also wanted a true flat screen and didn't want the rear projection box that the DLP has. Also, you have to replace the DLP bulbs every couple of years, and that's about $300 a pop I think. I think either will work great for games and HD. In my opinion, it boils down to size. Does it really matter?
