Cheap cable for a cheap person
on February 9, 2012

I purchased this cable only because I wanted the cheapest, shortest HDMI cable I could get to connect my Windows Media Center laptop to my television.
It allows my laptop to connect to the TV with no visible loss of video quality, and from my seat on the sofa I can read all the text on the screen clearly as I could if I were sitting directly behind the laptop screen. I don't see any reason to buy a more expensive HDMI cable than this one, especially when the cable is so short . Shielding on a really short cable isn't very important, and this was the least expensive I could find.
Despite everything I've said before, however, the cable IS fairly well shielded...albeit, it's no monster cable, but it's still pretty heavy. I honestly believe if monster cables didn't exist nobody would miss them as long as they used this cable.
What's great about it: good quality, great price, decent shielding
What's not so great: Monster cables exist, and this is not monster cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When you want overkill
on February 9, 2012

This product is a little over-kill considering it's just a short component cable (versus a longer HDMI cable), the shielding, and thickness of the cable are a little bit excessive. This means you MUST have absolutely the BEST quality imaginable, and you're willing to go overboard, this is the cable for you.
Additionally, the metal shielding around the cable makes the cable "cat-proof." My cat that enjoys gnawing on cables, can't get to this one thanks to the heavy shielding, which is a major plus for me.
Will you notice the difference in quality? You might, I switched from the Wii's standard cable to this cable, and observed was that the colors were a little brighter and truer, and the Wii's "HD" mode (420 P) was enabled.
Was it a huge change?
No, but it was noticeable to me, people less observant may not have noticed it all.
It was worth it for me but I would only recommend it to somebody that wants to go overkill with their video quality, or somebody that owns cats.
What's great about it: Good quality, well sheilded, cat proof.
What's not so great: A little expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok it's cat-5 network cable, you get what you pay for. The only concern is cost and length and this cable was the right length for me, and a good price.
In the words of Admiral Ackbar (almost):
It's a network cable!

Enemies will fall at the wave of your hand. Goals will be grasped with the reach of your arm. Sports tournaments will be won by the twist of your wrist. Your gaming destiny is clear when you're armed with the Wii Remote Plus controller. Hyper-sensitive to recognize your slightest movements, the Remote Plus eliminates buttons and joysticks and replaces them with the natural, fluid gestures of your body. A controller has never been so simple to use. Integrated MotionPlus technology intuitively recognizes every swing, twist, swish and blow and reproduces it on the screen with unbelievable accuracy, taking your mind off the buttons and into the battle, tournament or race. When your controller no longer controls you, the reins are yours to take — steer your way to success.

Wii controllers were already well designed, add in the Wii motion plus and they're outright brilliant.
Combining the two into one package is a good move, the only down side is if you already own a Wii controller without motion plus.
Cost-wise these are no more expensive than a wii-controller had been before motion plus.
What's great about it: Two in one saves you money
What's not so great: Nothing

The best Zelda Yet?

The best Zelda Yet?
Quite possibly. Previously I thought that no game would ever beat Ocarina of Time for my favorite Zelda game, but this one is the only other Zelda game to stand up with Ocarina and give Ocarina a run for it's money.
The game is fairly long but it's worth every minute you won't get the feeling that you wished the game had ended 5 hours ago even when you're 45 hours into the game.
Must have for anybody that has an electrical outlet (if you don't have a Wii, go buy one).
What's great about it: Everything, great art, great puzzles, great battles, great Extras, great Side-quests, and it comes with a music CD!
What's not so great: Nothing

I bought this for just one song, "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)" but found that I like most of the songs on the CD and don't really dislike any of them.
What's great about it: Christmas Eve Serejevo
What's not so great: The lead singer's voice is a little annoying
