Where's the bass?

The Freedom F5 in-ear headphones are really great when they are seated properly in your ear. But getting them in the right position is very tricky. The first time I listened with them was awesome. Went to the gym the next day and there was NO BASS! It took me almost a half an hour to find the "sweet spot" again. I've tried all the sizes of the tips included and still run into the same problem. Unless the X5s are perfectly placed, the sound deteriorates to the point of annoyance. But when they are properly seated, the sound is very impressive. I'll probably be returning these because of their temperamental nature. I don't have time to fiddle with the earphones every time I want to listen to music.

Powerbeats 2—Disappointing

I couldn't get these to fit properly. I tried every one of the silicone tips included in the box, but none were comfortable. Note: I have no problem with the wired Beats In-Ear buds. Needless to say, the audio quality I experienced with Powerbeats wireless was poor. Very thin sounding. Weak base. Didn't do an effective job in cancelling out extraneous noise. I could hear the background noise at the gym, the clanks and grunts. Very disappointing. Returned them after a week.

Stay away from this one

This Panasonic looks great and cooked great for the 5 months it worked! Today I got the H98 error code, which means the unit blew either a magnetron or the inverter. It's too expensive to fix and the warranty is finished, so I guess I'll just think of it as flushing $200 down the toilet. C'est la vie. I'll never buy Panasonic again.
What's great about it: Looks great.
What's not so great: Broke after 5 months!
