Nice small massager with great battery life.
on March 11, 2023

I like how this is small and portable for when I travel or take the kids to track meets. They can keep warmed up and any pains you can work out while waiting to run. This has been helpful for when we are working thru an injury. The battery life is great and the massage is pretty solid. I do wish there was a lighter speed as sometimes the area is sore and you just want a little massage. The included 3 attachments and carrying pouch is a nice touch to be able to cltravel with this. I like that it charges usbc which is a modern charging option opposed to some that still used micro usb. This allows me to have less charging cables. The only cons would be a slower mode and other colors. While black is a general purpose I think a nice Blue would be fun. As for the battery life, we used it for 2 x 30 min sessions at 3 different meets this week and it still has power left. I cannot speak to the charge time as I normally plug it in at night and take it the next morning. I really think I could take this on a trip for a week and not need to charge it.

Vacuuming that fits seamlessly into your life. The i8+ learns your home and navigates to where the messes are, right when they happen—so you can effortlessly keep your floors clean. Just say to Google Assistant or Alexa voice assistant, “Tell Roomba to clean under the kitchen table” and consider it done. After each cleaning, the i8+ empties itself into Dirt Disposal bags that hold up to 60 days of debris so you can forget about vacuuming for months. Personalized cleaning recommendations and seasonal suggestions help keep floors clean year-round, and 10x the Power-Lifting suction* paired with self-emptying convenience help make life a whole lot easier. *(compared to the Roomba 600 series cleaning system) *(Alexa and all related logos are trademarks of Amazon.com or its affiliates. Robot Vacuum made even better. Best avail.
on February 26, 2023
Posted by: KKCNIck
Unboxing was simple. Just take out the dock/bin and plug it into the wall. Place the vacuum on the dock. Download the Irobot home app. Follow the prompts for setup which is simple in that you just enter your wireless password thru your phone and then it is installed. After that, you run your first job and it maps your home. This is where it improves over the previous version. I felt the mapping was more accurate and marked what was tile vs carpet. It did not get stuck as the previous version did. Also while they did not discuss it in the setup guide there was this wireless fence that I was able to set up that blocked a room we normally have a lot of loose items that get caught on like our office/gym. This was an easy way to get the floor vacuumed and make the Roomba skip it. After it is mapped, they guide you thru moving what it sees as rooms so you can set up zones in the house. Say you want to have it vacuumed after dinner in the kitchen. Then it will be per what you set up. I like that feature however the vacuum is still noisy and gets the dogs excited while we run it while at work. It would be nice to be able to have a silent mode even if it took longer to clean up while you were at work but not so loud it made the dogs think someone is in the house. Besides, it is the closest thing I have found that does all the work for you. I think the quality of pickup is good even with pets. Having to empty the bag once every 60 days is reasonable. The rest of the maintenance is easy, and parts are readily available. So far very impressed. I used Alexa to have it vacuum after dinner, and it worked as advertised, but something like this runs for a while so it is not an instant feeling when the voice command is given like when you ask her to turn it on say a light it gets the job done. I also was able to integrate this into my Google Home app so now I can start it from there.
The only Cons are the noise when running and I wish there were more of those little digital fences to put around areas depending on what’s on the floor that day. It can be frustrating to come home and let it charge/finish when it gets stuck. Very functional smart product.

Good but there are better depending on your needs

I was happy to get to try this. The naming convention is funny. I had something similar from a different brand, but this feels more polished for the purpose. Unboxing and setup were simple. Just the shavers, guards, and power cables. Besides charging them up there was not any setup left.
The Weed Wacker (Nose Trimmer) worked well enough. I just felt like I was swirling it around in my nose to get the hair. There were a few missed. It was just ok.
As for the Lawn Mower. I first used the cleanser they included. It was ok but I did not feel anything different than I would with soap. I proceeded to use the guard for a trim, not a full shave. The larger guard did not seem to cut when I took several passes. The shorter guard did but seemed to cut short. I was hoping to just trim and not have to take passes from different angles. In the end, I fought it for the desired cut. I did like the light that it had so I could see and that the charger was USB C. I just did not feel that it lived up to the name. Especially for the price.
Also, I think for the money they could have included a travel pouch to put everything in. It was just ok for me.

Meet the Ninja Double Oven, the countertop oven that unlocks the power of two ovens in the counter space of one. Only Ninja has the FlexDoor that creates 2 separate ovens so you can cook 2 meals, 2 ways at different temperatures and cooking times. Use just the Top Rapid Oven for quick snacks, sides, and sheet pan meals—or the Bottom Convection & Air Fry Oven for larger roasts, bakes, or air frying up to 6 lbs of wings. You can also sync both independent ovens to cook a full course meal that finishes cooking at the same time with Smart Finish technology. While your meal cooks, FlavorSeal technology prevents flavor crossover between ovens. The Smart Cook System precisely monitors temperatures with the leave-in thermometer, so you don't have to. Two oven cavities in one eliminate back-to-back cooking for 65% faster meal-making than your traditional oven so you can put your wall oven out of business. Plus, this countertop dual oven features 12 cooking functions for the ultimate versatility.

Great Double Oven for kitchen counter.
on February 25, 2023

This is a cool concept for a busy family with low time after work/school for dinner. I was excited to get this as we often have a wait to use the oven. Unboxing this was easy. It included the oven and several trays for all of the needed functions since due to the space your pans would not fit well. One thing I was looking for was a smart app thinking the smart name meant an app of some sort. Well, there was no app. Otherwise, it was up and running in 10 min.
I proceeded to cook some pizzas and the preheating was very fast unlike a traditional oven. I did like that but did not feel it cooked them faster. Also, when your used to an oven where you preheat this works a little different. Since the preheat is fast. You basically put the food in and set the temp and time. When you hit start part of your time is the preheat but it is so fast it does not take away from the cooking time. I still found the food cooked. I just wish this had a way to preheat then a beep or something to start the timer. I also cooked some cookies in the top tray and some pizza rolls on the bottom. They were both cooked well and did not smell or taste like they were baked together. I unfortunately did not have anything to dehydrate or air fry. I also do wish it was able to perform a microwave function also at a lower temp. I personally nuke a frozen meal and frozen veggies and this was not able to do that without burning them. Maybe that could be the 13th feature in a gen 2?
The downsides are the size as it is big on the counter, so we felt like it took a lot of our space on the counter. Also, the top does get hot. It does have a symbol, but it is small and can easily be overlooked. I wish there was some better shielding or something to make it more obvious for the younger kids in the family as I would not want them to get burnt.
In summary this device is as advertised, and I feel like for the family that cooks many things at once or wants to save energy vs the traditional oven. Then this is a great addition to the kitchen. I just wish there was a smaller model as it takes a lot of space on the counter.

Well made Charger for Iphone/Airpods
on October 28, 2022
Posted by: KKCNIck
Setup was pretty simple as it only came with the charger and the power cable. The cable did come with a barrel connector vs something like USBC which would have been nice to keep for other uses if the charger ever failed.
Use was good and easy. I liked how my Iphone 14 Pro Max just clicked on and it felt solid. I was able to spin it sideways to watch content while working and vertical when making a call or accessing other apps. The base was weighted so it never felt like the phone was not stable. The charger tilts the phone forward to be almost vertical and tilts back for more of a media content view. As for the performance. This is charging at 7.5w so it was fast but I know there are faster options thru Apple. I think a charger like this is more for long term charging sessions or in my case at my desk in the office.
As for the Airpods charging. Again they charged immediately and seemed quick. I normally have never timed how long my Airpods take to charge. In the end this is a solid setup for charging these 2 devices. I just wish it had an option to charge my watch all at the same time.

Great secure smart lock with easy install
on October 20, 2022
Posted by: KKCNIck
Unboxing: Box was heavier than expected but everything inside the box was well packaged. Everything was logically placed in the box starting with the instructions. Keypad was covered in plastic to keep it from harm during transport.
Installation: Inside the box there are two sets of instructions a quick guide and the instruction booklet. The quick guide mostly advises you to download the app and pair your new lock with the app. The app has videos on how to complete the instruction which was nice. Inside the instruction booklet are measurements and even a ruler that allows you to measure your door to make sure you have the space and the correct size openings to install this lock on your door. Once I verified my door was able to take the lock the installation was easy enough. I had one issue connecting the cable from the outside piece to the inside piece because of how close it was to the locking unit. Otherwise, it was a smooth installation. Took about 15 minutes. Once installed the app tests the functionality and you are good to go. I did not get the additional smart Wi-Fi unit and I was unable to test the door sense as my door did not meet the requirements for installation.
Usage: Using my phone to unlock and lock the door worked as expected. Using the code on the panel also worked great. I liked that this unit had physical buttons unlike other units that opt for a touchscreen. I have larger fingers, and this keeps me from pushing multiple keys or not pushing anything at all. With the physical buttons I know I have pushed the key. Within the app you can assign multiple users and give each user a code. You are also able to set an access schedule to limit when those codes can be used. You can also see when a code was used and by which user if you need to audit anything. Note to users you will need the smart module that connects this unit to Wi-Fi to use any home automation via Alexa or google home. Without the smart unit which I did not purchase codes and Bluetooth are the only ways to interact with this lock.
Pros: Look of the lock is smooth and looks great on my door.
Fairly easy installation especially if you have installed locks before.
App was very instructive on how to install lock with videos.
Ability to add and remove wifi capabilities is nice for the security minded
Cons: If you are running this unit on Bluetooth only you need to be close to the lock to make any changes via the app and to see any logs or entries.

Awesome printer with 1yr free ink
on October 11, 2022
Posted by: KKCNIck
I loved how the setup was easy since I already had the HP app downloaded. A simple removal of some blue tape, install ink and paper. Then the app finds the printer and all set. I did elect to sign up for the $24.99 plan which includes 700/ pages per month. Since the free ink is for the year you get that for 12 months so why not maximize. Then just need to align the correct plan for the 13th month. The app is really good. You can program the scan functions, print documents, scan and copy from the app. Also it has a ton of templates from greeting cards to coloring pages. The print speed and quality are about normal for inkjet. It is clear and clean but still not the shiny look of laser. The speed is pretty quick. The scan quality is really good and the text document I scanned was really legible. I liked how it was really light to move and it has all the connection options: usb, lan and wireless. It even has a fax jack if that is needed. I would as HP to offer a $3.99 plan that included 400 pages per month or an annual plan so you can print more during school time and less during summer months.

Good for humidifier/purifier only
on October 10, 2022
Posted by: KKCNIck
The setup was pretty easy and well documented. I did not like how the humidity was determined as I felt it added too much in the air. The sitting water was also a concern. I was just worried it would get moldy so i removed the water and it became a air purifier. After a week I did not notice anything and the air filter was clean. However the app did imply the filter needed cleaning. I wish this would have added/removed humidity so I could better dial it in. If your looking for additional humidity then this seems to provide that but I do think as an air purifier it could do more. The filters are pretty expensive also. I did not get a chance to try this but it does and a scent emitter which is nice to keep the room smelling good. I do wish they provided a sample so I could test this out. The noise is non existent which is nice since I would not be able to sleep if it was loud. The app does show the fan speed, humidity and filter levels so that is pretty well rounded. The housing does look modern in the corner of the room.

Great wireless keyboard, switches are too quiet
on September 28, 2022
Posted by: KKCNIck
I’m a mechanical keyboard enthusiast and I’ve always been a fan of wired keyboards. Now here comes Razer with a wireless mechanical keyboard. Great concept, overall great build.
Look and feel
The keyboard itself feels heavy which is nice. It has a premium feel to it. The fact that the USB C cable can double as a physical connection for the keyboard makes a difference, especially when you’re wanting to use the keyboard with wired connection, so having the option to go wireless and wired is great. The thing I have an issue with are the switches. They aren’t tactile enough and they are too silent. I know everyone has their own preference and with Razers record of tactile, heavy or light switches, this one feels a bit underwhelming for the price tag. When I shop for mechanical keyboards is the tactile feel of the switches and keys. Now the actual physical keys feel good. They are premium, soft, and great for typing. But again, the tactile feel of it isn’t worth the price tag.
Software
Well there’s not much to say about the Razer Synapse software. It’s still the same, clunky, software that Razer always uses. It hasn’t been updated for ease of use yet and its still glitchy when creating different profiles. It at least auto-updates the firmware of the devices and the primary reason I use it is for my Razer Naga Pro to change macro settings on the fly.
Overall I give the Deathstalker Pro 6.5/10 . Reason being, for a premium product, the switches are too quiet and they don’t feel right at all. Outside of that, the build quality is at least on point with what you would expect from Razer.

Awesome wireless Soundbar/power Bank
on September 26, 2022
Posted by: KKCNIck
When I first unboxed this I was unsure what value it would offer. Setup was pretty simple. Just hold the Bluetooth button on the side until you hear pairing. Then you add under settings/Bluetooth in Windows or IOS. After connection I was prompted to download Plantronics Hub. This allowed me to push a firmware update and see how this thing works. I was also able to set what the Rocketship button does. In my case I chose Play/Pause. You can also launch a voice assistant or redial if your use case warrants it. After that I used it for the day making calls and playing music in the background. I heard the caller well and and they heard me just as well as when I had the phone to my ear. This added some more versatitly to my setup as I can now have just this and my cell phone and make work calls when I am working remote but also can jam to some tunes when I am not on a call. All of this while sitting at my desk vs a headset which just cuts all the sound around me out. Now I did have issues when I wanted to take a call and my dog was barking. The caller heard it pretty clear so the noise cancelling is still better on a dedicated headset. Also the music on this was pretty good. As good as a pair of computer speakers and better than my iPhone/laptops speakers but that is about it. Ultimately the price is sort of high for the value but it is pretty useful if you work in a hybrid environment.

Best Iphone Yet
By KKCNIck from montgomery, il
It is a huge step up from the original IPhone. Each Year they get better and better. This year finally the most needed thing (larger Display). I only wish the 2 features in the plus were in this and it would have been perfect. Full 1080p display and the optical Image Stabilization. The Plus is nice but its practically a tablet and really should have been able to have those features in both. Otherwise very happy with the upgrade.

How do I pick a new laptop?

Need to buy a laptop. will use at home (home office). Will download CD's and Itunes (up to 5,000 songs)
Well any laptop will do that. It is a matter of hard drive space. I would look at the Toshiba A305-6916 if you can find one because they are priced right and have great speakers for playback. Also has a 320gb hd which is pleanty of room.

Is bestbuy selling the Asus G51?

I heard that some people have bought it instore but i cannot find anything online. I have yet to call my nearest BB to see but i'm just checking.
Yeah I just saw one for $999 and it has p7450 processor and a 1gb nvidia gt260 card. It also comes with a free upgrade to windows 7 when released. I would find the G50vt that they are clearancing if you can because there is not much difference and you will save money.
