HDMI Does not work

Everything was fine but the HDMI ports don't work. The coaxial cord did but the picture was terrible. After checking all 3 ports using 3 different cables I turned to Google. Found out it was a known issue. Guess what else? It was stated on samsung website that the J series TVs are known to have this issue but it's corrected in a software update. My TV told me there were no updates even though the software version did not match the version the fix was in. I couldn't download the update and apply it manually because, although odd, this TV model was not listed on the website for me to download manuals or anything. Finally after 3.5 hours on the phone with Samsung I talked to someone who actually looked at the website and saw what I was referring to. They said they were going to send me the update on a flash drive but it would take 5-14 days just to SHIP. Unacceptable since I only have 14 days to return it if it still didn't work. I decided to take it back since by the time they decide this the department closed and they would have to have someone call me "some time" tomorrow to discuss POSSIBLY overnighting it to me since I requested that but they could not guarantee. Not worth the hassle.
