Not horrible, but not great. Fans only.

This game deserves a little more credit. Yes it could be much better then it is. I only recommend this game if you find it for $20 and below.
It makes good use of the setting and music. Looks like it should of come out a few years before though. Characters have intresting back stories and overall the game isn't that bad.
Combat isn't that great, too easy to be cheap. But I like it. It's honestly about as good as The Lost video game, which was just a game set in the same setting as the show. This game should be thought of as a good fanfic. Don't take it seriously and you might enjoy it. Playing as the night watch is a lot of fun, and walking around kings landing is fun too. It will give you something to play inbetween seasons. Or worst case just play skyrim.
What's great about it: Story, characters, setting.
What's not so great: Combat, and graphics.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great spin off!

First things first, this is a spin off. It is considered cannon, but not part of the main metal gear story. Platinum games have done an excellent job in making this a fun game, if you are a fan of bayanetta then you will like this game. If you are a fan of the metal gear mythos you will like this game. It has tons of bonus features, upgrade weapons, new armor and new weapons.
For those of us that have thought cyborg ninja aka gray fox was one of the best characters introduced in metal gear solid this is a moment we have been waiting for where we finally get to play as an overpowered fast as hell cyborg ninja. If you are like me and felt Raiden redeemed himself in Metal gear solid 4 then playing this game should be enjoyable. But if you still haven't let go of metal gear solid 2 then you should move on.
I think a lot of people will be shocked at how fun the game and combat is when they pick it up. Hideo Kojima wouldn't let a bad game come out. So breathe easy.
What's great about it: Amazing gameplay, extras, tons of replay value, great design.
What's not so great: Short, story is cliche

You must never lower your guard. Swarms of enemies and massive spacecrafts surround you and the only thing standing between you and certain death is your merch. You deftly maneuver through a 360° battlefield, ruthlessly swinging down your sword and seamlessly raising your gun to dispatch another would-be killer. You're engaged in a battle for your life — and now it features graphics so crisp that the line between game and reality is beginning to blur. Hardcore gameplay and an immersive storyline combine with stunning, vibrant visuals in this HD remastering of the legendary Zone of the Enders series. With the increased aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9, upped frame rate from 30 fps to 60 fps, and evolved audio for crisper sound effects, no leaf has been left unturned in bringing Z.O.E into the HD universe. Kojima Productions even teamed up with Sunrise to bring you an impressive introduction sequence that combines artistry and beautiful anime with technical and upscaled CG for an opening that will instantly put you in the zone. With the added bonus of all-new trophies and achievements to collect, this HD Collection is sure to leave you with a satisfying and enthralling gameplay experience.

Great game collection, two awesome games for a great price. Gameplay is fast and looks amazing even after ten years. Comes with the metal gear rising demo as well just like how zoe came with metal gear solid 2 demo. The only downside which is the same as back then horrible voice acting which seems even worse now that I'm an adult playing this. I didn't encounter any framerate issues on the xbox, must be a ps3 problem which is ironic considering it was a ps2 exclusive.
What's great about it: Awesome gameplay, great looking robots,
What's not so great: voice acting

So first off if you played the dragon's dogma resident evil demo then don't worry, they picked the worst parts of the game to show you.
The game is huge, there are 4 campaigns to play. Each is about 4-6 hours long. There is also a mode called agent hunt mode where you can invade other players games as a monster. Also the return of mercenaries!
Leon's campaign is a return to classic featuring zombies and spooky enviroments. Also probably the best of the 4. Chris's story is an action game, Jake's is more of a hybrid with more focus on hand to hand combat and a lot of running away.
The partners in this game are a lot smarter and won't steal your items. However they can be slow when you need them to get to a door.
I want to write more about this game and how awesome it is but it would be better for you to play it.
What's great about it: Tons of content, amazing graphics, intresting story,
What's not so great: QTE events, camera can do weird things, may be too much of a departue

Having seen the movie and read the first book I have to say woooooow this is a huge rip off of battle royale, the book and movie. Same premise, goverment forcing kids to kill each other in a game... The author claims she's never heard of battle royale but the similarites are too great. Even Stephen king noticed it... Don't buy this movie and go watch an infintely better one!

Destined to be underrated!

Dragon's Dogma will be one of the most underrated games ever made. It has sold like crazy in Japan but only ok here in the USA. Hopefully word of mouth will reach more people. This game has some truly unique things about, such as the pawn system. Since this game is only single player it allows you to make a companion that will travel with you, however other players can recruit your pawn. Your pawn will gain in game money, get rated on performace and sometimes receive gifts. You can also recruit up to two other pawns to travel with you. They can be in game pawns or other players. The pawns do however yell random things such as "what a big tree" for no reason at all but they are usually helpful. The game itself is extremely beautiful and unique. The framerate will drop sometimes during cut scenes due to so much going on. The battles can be really challenging at times too, but the game doesn't punish you for running away. I'd say this is honestly one of my better purchases as of late.
What's great about it: Unlimted Freedom, Tough battles, Pawn system is unique,
What's not so great: Frame rate, no fast travel,

Dragons, enough said.

For fans of elder scrolls, or even fallout, this game will come to you as a no brainer. The gameplay and graphics have undergone a huge overhaul, still not up to par with some newer games, it at times can be looked at as art though. You will look out into a night sky and beautiful mountains, or climb a mountain against a snow storm.
Gameplay wise, it has defintely been more fine tuned. Lock picking takes it's cues from fallout as opposed to oblivion which had a not so great system. In this game buying a house in a city has become much easier to obtain early on so you can store your extra junk you don't want to sell. Character animations have become more fluid as well.
Probably the coolest and most annoying aspect of the game is the dragons. The are like mini cutscenes. You know when they show up due to the earth shaking, and music. Not to mention npcs, including creatures will gang up on the dragons. The annoying part is the dragons are often easy to kill compared to smaller creatures you fight, and they show up at the worst of times.Like during a sneaking mission to steal something.
all in all this is the best elderscrolls game to date. so defintely worth picking up if you want a game that will last forever.
What's great about it: Dragons, enviroment, rpg elements
What's not so great: dragons have the worst timing

Great Follow Up To Fallout 3

There has been alot of hype towards this game, and there should be. It is a great game. It doesn't stray far from fallout 3, which to me is a good thing having loved 3. It also adds to the complexity of fallout 3 such as bring back the harvesting of plants that oblivion had, and also allowing you to create ammo, and take apart guns for parts. It also has the reputation system from the orginal fallout games, which at times can be kinda frustrating when you are trying to make a faction your friend not knowing you some how made them mad. There is also tons and tons of things to do in this game, it has triple the side quests from fallout 3 and an intresting main quest.
Negative side is the game does have some technical issues that could have been avoided by additional testing and a further release date. It can lag at times even if it has been installed, and it has crashed a few times on me, but the gameplay is so good it doesn't really bother me, and bethseda is a great publisher that always has a patch to follow whenever an issue comes up.
What's great about it: Loads of content, great story, great gameplay
What's not so great: lags at times, also crashes at times, facial features need improvement

Great Action Shallow Plot
on June 24, 2010
Posted by: shadow55055
from Durham, NC
I personally liked this movie, being a die hard alien and predator fan. I think this was a much better movie than Aliens vs Predator 1. The first one was boring, and used too many slow motion effects.
So first off the plot is pretty simple, the predator from the first dies and has a alien come out of him and it kills all the predators on board their ship and they crash in colorado. The face huggers escape and implant some hunters, and then aliens try taking over the town. Thats pretty much it for the plot, a lone predator comes to stop the aliens and thats it. The humans plot is a joke. They are there for nothing then cannon fodder.
Action wise this movie was awesome, the predator fights the aliens and uses it's technology to kick some butt. It is what ever person wants to see.
Good movie worth the 20 bucks.
What's great about it: amazing action
What's not so great: stupid plot

Great game but marred with glitches
on April 2, 2009
Posted by: shadow55055

The Last Remnant was going to be Square-enix's new IP but I doubt that is there plan now. It was created to appeal to western audiences and to gain market share. It could of been a sucess...
The game starts off by throwing you in a battle. You play main character Rush as he searches for his kidnapped sister. The voice acting in this game is pretty solid for an rpg, while not on par with games like mass effect it gets the job done, even if your main character is pretty bland.
The graphics are pretty good, but it defintely shows that this is square enix's first time using the unreal engine. While the unreal engine is known for having texture pop ins, it still shouldn't take 10 seconds for the backgrounds and details to load.
The battle system is fun even if battles can go on for an hour. You can save the game at anytime as well which is nice, expect during battle, so losing a boss battle thats followed by another boss battle is frustrating.
But one thing i have found to fix lag is to download the game onto the harddrive, if you have a 20gb hdd you can do one disc at a time the discs are only 5-7 gbs so it's not to bad.
Overrall I def recommend this game if you can find it for $29.99 and under. But the $60 price tag was not worth the bugs this game had.
What's great about it: Great cast, great setting, awesome battle system and great score.
What's not so great: Bugged like crazy, lags, texture pop ins,
