The sound is very full, rich, and warm. I have seen this band before, unbeknownst to who they were and they BLEW MY SOCKS OFF! They are from Kentucky, and you can definately hear the southern rock roots in their songs, especially in "Rain Wizard" where there is a slide guitar in the beginning, backed by another heavy les paul. This band is in the footsteps of Lynyrd Skynyrd, maybe a tinge of Godsmack, Alice in Chains, but they definately have created their own sound. Their songwriting/storywriting ability is amazing for such a young band. The song Lonely Train is about how war can tragically effect families and friends. Most of the songs however are uplifting. Their new album comes out on 8/25/08, and I can't wait to pick it up!
What's great about it: slightly southern rock, with a slightly heavier edge
