Went to the store in Altamonte Springs to have my amp & two subs installed. Once finished, the install crew called me over to listen to the speakers, and they didn't sound right. He told me it was because I needed to close the holes in the back of my boxes, so I bought pieces to cover the holes, yet they still didn't sound great. They're advice to me was to get ported boxes. Later that week, I was un-hooking the speakers from my amp to replace the boxes, and I noticed that the positive & negative leads were hooked to the wrong terminals! So I went ahead and hooked them up correctly, and it sounded amazing!
All-in-all, the amp was hooked up correctly, but I think they got tired / lazy by the time they hooked the speakers up. Just wish I checked it out before I bought new boxes and pieces from Best Buy to close the holes in my original boxes.
