Verified Purchase:Yes
I used this tripod as a second back up to store another camcorder. However, the bottom is easily breakable. It's still able to be used, but I just have to unscrew the bottom first.

The third season of the Emmy-winning drama The West Wing started with a special episode that addressed the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, titled "Isaac and Ishmael." This set contains that program as well as every other episode from the third season. Major storylines during the course of the year included the ongoing political fallout from President Bartlett hiding his health issues from the American public, and a series of international incidents that series creator Aaron Sorkin created in order to comment on the volatile real-life situations transpiring at the time.

the west wing: season three
on August 9, 2008

The West Wing was one of the best dramas on television and season 3 is no exception. This season starts off where season 2 left off when President Bartlett was in a middle of a press conference when someone asked him "will you be seeking a 2nd term?" and in the 2 part season opener, he answers that. This season also includes the Sept 11th based episode, "Isaac and Ishmael." But my favorite episodes this season were "The Indians in the Lobby" (the butter-ball hotline episode), "Bartlett for America", and "The Two Bartlets." This DVD set also includes the Documentary Special that was run before the first episode, of the last 4 episodes of the season, aired.

Join Joel, Tom Servo, Crow and all the occupants of the Satelite of Love as they mock the film The Wild World of Batwoman on this episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The episode comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials include an uncut version of the film on the flipside of the disc. This is a great release for any fan of the series.

not one of the best, but still funny

I always remember watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 and somehow always end up laughing. For those of you new to the program, Mike (or Joel) commentate on horrible sci-fi movies that never exactly were at the top of their game. This episode was not one of the best of the series, but still funny. There is also a misprint on the DVD cover, and im glad that this website made note of it. See, on the cover it says that its Joel that the robots are with, but its actually Mike on this DVD. In the special features department, you will find that the uncut version of this movie is available also.

Home Improvement made a huge star out of Tim Allen and became a mainstay of ABC's schedule for nearly a decade. This box set contains all 24 episodes from the program's first season. Allen played the accident-prone host of a local home improvement show and the comedy came from when his guy-oriented outlook on life clashed with his wife and his family. The first season featured Pamela Anderson as the Tool Time girl.

I got the first four seasons of "Home Improvement" for my birthday, and I just finished watching the first season last night. I love all of the episodes, and i actually don't remember if ive seen any of the first season prior to this. I know that ive seen some of the later episodes. There aren't many special features besides commentarys and some "themed featurettes." I wish they had a documentary on how they made the show. I love those on TV dvds.
What's great about it: great sitcom
What's not so great: not enough dvd special features

The famous Red Rocks venue plays host to The Moody Blues on this DVD that offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack does a fine job of capturing the music. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, making it quite difficult to recommend this disc to anyone who is not already a fan of the band. Some of the songs performed include "Nights in White Satin", "Days of Future Past", and "Tuesday Afternoon".

i loved this concert the first time i saw it on television and im so glad that i finally own it on DVD! if you are a moody blues fan and have never seen this concert, it is a must own for your collection! im just sad that this concert wasn't filmed in HD but considering how this concert took place in 1992, it only makes sense that its not.
What's great about it: so glad this concert is on DVD
What's not so great: not in HD =/

If you are new to "Arrested Development" let me tell you that it only lasted 3 seasons, so yes, this is the final season. However, if you haven't already, you need to caught up starting with season one and working ur way up to this season. For the rest of you tho who maybe just finished season 2 or thinking of buying season 3, you should! This is the best season yet of A.D. and unlike other shows, I believe this show had one of the greatest series finales i've ever seen. I just wish it lasted longer!
What's great about it: great series
What's not so great: only lasted 3 seasons =/

the first 24 soundtrack

I am a longtime viewer of "24", have all the seasons on DVDs, and I love this soundtrack!! Sean Callery is a great composer. You might remember Sean Callery did the music from "Le Femme Nikita" (although I have never seen this show, I still love his music). Some of my favorite tracks from this soundtrack include the "24 theme", "Up and down stairs", "Jack in the Limo", "The Bomb Detonates", "Alexis", and many more!! I definitely recommend this soundtrack to any fans of the show "24."

plz bring out another volume!

I really enjoyed this second helping of Sean Callery's work on 24. Although, the only thing i didnt like about this volume, was the main theme from the video game. What Callery should do is release a soundtrack for 24: The Game (if he hasn't already). I wanted some more of my favorites to be included in this volume, but this CD was still worth the money! I guess I will have to wait for the next volume, if we ever see another, to see if some of my favorites are included :)
What's great about it: great music!
What's not so great: a different version of the main theme

The Family Guy's maniacal baby genius takes an outrageous journey of self-discovery in this feature-length adventure that follows little Stewie on a cross-country search to find the man he believes is his true father. One day, while sitting in front of the television pondering his latest plot for world domination, Stewie is shocked to see a man with whom he bears an uncanny resemblance. Now wholeheartedly convinced that his biological father is the man he spotted on television, Stewie hits the road in search of his past.

stewie takes over!

I watched "Family Guy Presents - Stewie's Untold Story" and I enjoyed it. As I read some of the past reviews, I noticed that some viewers didn't think of it like the TV show, and I could understand that viewpoint. It was a little slow in the beginning, but it ends with one of the best Family Guy endings ever. As far as special features go... I think there could have been a lot more features. Finally, to select the "uncensored audio track" go into Language Selection and select it from the menu. The edited audio track is the default one, and personally I believe that is a good idea for those younger viewers out there. Overall, I thought the movie deserved 5 stars and to Seth... send out more of those direct-to-DVD movies/specials from Family Guy!!

The Moody Blues like you've never heard like this!
on July 28, 2008

I am a 22 year old hooked on the Moody Blues (odd isn't it??). Back in my early teens, my mother and I both watched the "A Night at Red Rocks" concert (which I bought on DVD before asking for the Deluxe Edition) on PBS during a donation drive. From then on, I have been a fan of the Moody Blues. My mom originally owned the single disc version of this concert on CD with less tracks than the Deluxe Edition, and let me just say I borrowed it for a long period of time. So for Christmas 2005, I asked for the Deluxe Edition of the concert, and I couldn't be more happier. This CD has the entire concert that took place on that thursday evening in September back in 1992. It is digitally remastered and even has dialogue between the music. I am right now on the fourth time of listening to the CD on my DiscMan. For the record, also, my mother was happy because after I opened this gift I went upstairs to my room, brought down her gift, and said "Merry Christmas, Mother, here is your CD." Unfortunately, she is raging with jealousy since my CD has more tracks on it.
What's great about it: the entire concert on 2 discs!
What's not so great: N/A
