One of the most successful comedies of all time, Animal House gets its best DVD release yet with this "Double Secret Probation Edition." The film is presented in a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, and Dolby Digital Stereo. English and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a Delta Alumni update (a 20-minute featurette that offers interviews with the characters about where they are now), a making-of documentary that is informative but was included on previous DVD editions of the film, an animated trivia track that supplies information while watching the movie, and a music video by MxPx for the song "Shout." Any big fan of the film will not be ripped off by upgrading to this edition, although the casual fan probably does not need to bother.

This is a very funny movie. Not for kids but no National Lampoon's movie is.

Arnold Schwarzenegger takes on all comers in a mythic style in this special DVD twin-pack, which presents Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer in one package. Both films have been transferred to disc in letterboxed format at the widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1, with the images enhanced for anamorphic playback on widescreen monitors. The audio for both films has been mastered in Dolby Digital Mono; both are in English, while Conan the Destroyer also features an optional dubbed soundtrack in French. Conan the Barbarian includes optional subtitles in French, while the follow-up does not feature subtitles. Bonus material featured on Conan the Barbarian includes an extended cut of the film, deleted scenes, a short documentary on the making of the picture, the original theatrical trailer, and a commentary track with director John Milius and star Arnold Schwarzenegger discussing the movie. The Conan the Destroyer disc is fortified with production notes, biographies of the cast and crew, and the original trailer.

The only reason Arnold plays this part so well is because he is so ripped.
19 hilarious episodes spanning seasons 1 and 2 of FOX's American Dad, created by comedy darling Seth MacFarlane. Enjoy extras like deleted scenes and gut-busting commentary by the show's creators.
