Steve Miner's comedy Big Bully comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include cast info and theatrical trailers for other films produced by the studio. This bare-bones release offers fine picture and sound and is worth its inexpensive list price.

This comedy skewed towards young people gets a basic presentation ion its release on DVD. Camp Nowhere has been given a letterboxed transfer at the aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Surround Stereo. The film's original English language soundtrack is featured, as well as an alternate dubbed version in Spanish. No bonus material has been included.

Emilio Estevez returns to coach an underdog youth hockey team in D2: The Mighty Ducks 3, which comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. This Disney/Buena Vista release does a fabulous job presenting the movie, which is a good thing considering there are no supplemental materials of any consequence.

Throw Momma From the Train, Danny Devito's darkly comic retelling of Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround, while a Spanish soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Mono. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed captioned. Supplemental materials include deleted scenes and the original theatrical trailer. This is a solid if bare-bones release from MGM/UA.

Based on the classic novel by John Steinbeck, the 1992 drama Of Mice and Men comes to DVD in this special edition disc from MGM. The image is presented with a widescreen anamorphic transfer. The Dolby Digital Surround soundtracks are rendered in English and French. Closed captions are accessible and subtitles are offered in English, Spanish, and French. Director/star Gary Sinise provides an audio commentary track for the film and for several deleted scenes. Special features include a short making-of featurette and a conversation between Sinise and screenwriter Horton Foote. Also contains screen tests, makeup tests, and the original theatrical trailer. This special edition disc is preferred over the original MGM disc released in 2001.

Adrian Lyne's stylish tale of extramarital affairs, Indecent Proposal, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that does a fabulous job of capturing the film's dark noirish colors. English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital Surround, and Dolby Digital Stereo. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by director Adrian Lyne. Paramount has done a solid job with this disc that should greatly satisfy fans of the film.

IS IT WORTH PAYING SOMEONE TO CALABRATE OR TWEEK THE SETTINGS ON MY SAMSUNG 52A650 LCD

Yes!! It is very much worth it. They make your tv look the very best that it can in your setting. I would recommend anyone doing this with a tv 42" or larger.
