A cute series!!!

This show is absolutely adorable!! When I first started to watch it, I was a bit disappointed that it was subbed and not dubbed, but I got over that quick after the show really started.
I really got into the show after seeing the cover of the first disk, two girls holding each other. This show has absolutely no male characters, as if they just don't exist; I guess that's what really caught my interest.
I recommend it to any anime fan!
What's great about it: Cute characters!!
What's not so great: Subbed, not dubbed

High Voltage at their Best

I bought this season in hopes it would be in full, but to my disappointment it was only half of the first season. I love to watch the tattooers at High Voltage with their amazing work, but since I bought the DVD I have watched it once, I guess because I had seen it all on TLC already. Good DVD to get if you don't have cable or don't watch the show weekly, I'd probably get the second and third season if those ever come out since I haven't kept up since the first.
What's great about it: Awesome Tattoo's
What's not so great: Only half a season

What an impact...

I would say this is a very heart warming story, but who could say that about a movie based on the Holocaust?? The friendship of the two boys is very heart warming, but leaves you with a very heart breaking ending. I thought this movie was amazing.

a misleading cover

First I'd like to state I'm a huge fan of B-Rated films and Zombies, plus the cover of this looked awesome, so I thought I'd give it a try. Wow. What a disappointment!!! I don't know who told this writer that Zombies should actually be able to communicate, but he thought wrong. They functioned like normal, but were the living dead. Yeh, that just can't be pulled off. The closest I've ever seen to pull that off was Land of the Dead. Stay away from this movie unless you do really want to waste your money. I'm glad I only rented it; I don't even think I finished watching it.
What's great about it: zombie chicks
What's not so great: coherent zombies???

The first sequel to the critically acclaimed Canadian horror film Ginger Snaps finds Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins returning to their roles under the direction of first-time feature filmmaker Brett Sullivan, who received a Genie Award nomination for his editing work on the first film. Released directly to DVD in the United States after a theatrical run in Canada, Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed finds Brigitte terrorizing a drug-rehab clinic when she's denied the serum that curbs her wolf-like tendencies. The film is presented in widescreen with the English soundtrack mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and Spanish subtitles are available as well. Along with the film itself, the disc provides viewers with several bonuses, not the least of which is a feature-length audio commentary track. For an even more in-depth look at the making of the film, there is behind-the-scenes footage, a featurette focusing on the makeup department's task of transforming the actors into blood-thirsty beasts, and a collection of original storyboards. Last but not least, several deleted scenes are included, rounding out a nicely loaded package.

Ginger Snaps Rocks

I absolutely adore the Ginger Snaps series; its very demented and an absoulte must for any werewolf fans. The first I'd have to say is my absoulte favorite, but the second one is very good as well. The taller girl on the cover is actually not in the second one, she just plays more of a memory for the sister; which was a little disappointing for me. Overall, it's an excellent movie and I would recommend the whole trilogy to anyone who loves blood and gore!
What's great about it: actresses, the concept
What's not so great: katherine from the first is just a memory in the second

For any NBC Fan
on August 26, 2008

This is a must have for any Nightmare Before Christmas fan. Jack has eight different phrases he says when you push the button on the side! It had a compartment on the back side where it stores the DVDs, his santa hat and beard and it has the Tim Burton poem in there as well. It also comes with a Digital Copy you can upload on iTunes and put on your iPod!! It is a bit pricey but so worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why waste money?
on August 18, 2008

WASTE OF MONEY. They tried to revisit a lot of things from the original, which this was not and could never be. If you wan't to see a movie about the Lost Boys, buy the first one... A much better buy.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: everything
