This should wrap up the storyline...
on September 24, 2011

So, this feature should wrap up the story of Eden of the East. For me, i didn't feel as excited about watching this feature as I did when I watched the "King of Eden" feature. I don't know, maybe it was because it was a couple of months between watching both features; I guess I felt a little lost in the story because I forgot some aspects of what previously happen. Or it just wasn't as exciting as the other releases.
Well, if you want a conclusion to the Eden story line this is it.
What's great about it: The story concludes.
What's not so great: I felt that it was a so-so ending.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Zombie Killing Action; Good Stuff!!!!
on August 6, 2011

I originally watched this show on Hulu when it was on; at the time it was subtitled. When I watched it I was instantly hooked and was hoping for it to have a U.S. release so I can add it to my collection. Low and behold there is a release.
The english dub isn't bad. I actually think it works very well. I wasn't put off by it. The action is great! Its the stereotypical zombie killing action in that type of genre. The characters are like-able. The story is too; again its the stereotypical survive the zombie outbreak kind of story. And talk about showing fan-service. The jiggly physics they have for the girls is so funny it's great! I've read other reviews of this show where people are put off by it. Not me, I like the fan-service. Again when I watched this in english I did a marathon viewing of the show because it was that good.
Anyways, I really like this show. Only 12 episodes on the bluray discs though. No real extras other than trailers for other shows and a clean opening/closing; stuff you get on regular DVDs. Though watching anime in high def is still the best!
I'm hoping there's going to be a second season.
I highly recommend!
What's great about it: Action, zombies, blood and guts, fan-service; all good in my book.
What's not so great: Only 12 episode; I need to see more.

Very good story
on May 25, 2011

This is a pretty good feature. The story is not self containing, meaning if you picked just this up by itself, you would understand whats going on. Pick up or watch the East of Eden complete series and it sets up this feature's storyline. This movie picks up where the series leaves off.
For me, I first watched the complete series which was pretty good in itself. Then I noticed this movie came out and picked it up. I don't want to give away and spoil it for you. Let me just tell you, I wasn't disappointed!
I got the Bluray/DVD combo pack and for some reason they made the case longer than other bluray cases. It's just weird to see my shelf where all the movies are leveled then this case just sticks out. I'm not knocking the movie, just the packaging.
Anyways I recommend this only if you watched the series first (so you won't get lost)...
What's great about it: It's a feature. Bluray/DVD combo.
What's not so great: Bluray case is longer than usual.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fist of the North Star this is not
on April 3, 2011

Yeah, not quite what I thought. Not like the other Fist of the North Star shows that I watched; yes it has some head exploding action, but it wasn't as cool as the original. I was expecting awesome match ups, memorable characters and an epic story. Sadly this does not really meet my expectations. I guess I was expecting too much more. Usually a good anime will make me want to do a marathon watching, this show hurts me to watch. Why does Raul have weak cronies with him? This show made his character so lame.
For a bluray the extras really lack; I mean non-existent. The title menu is so boring!
It ticks me off that I spent fifty buck on this lame show. I'm forcing myself to finish watching it just because I spent all my doe on this junk.
Don't waste your money. Look elsewhere for an anime show.
What's not so great: Lame everything; So expensive for this junk show.

Nice Looking Peripheral
on March 4, 2011
Posted by: Iliketoplaygames
from Earth
My thoughts is this is the sweetest looking peripheral I've seen/played with. I've used this with Killzone 3 and Time Crisis. I have to admit that navigating around with this control needs a little getting used to; little meaning a lot...
So I can navigate (go forward, back, left and right) with the navigation controller just fine, but when it comes to looking around (up, down, left and right; usually done with the right stick on a normal controller, but now done with the Move controller) it gets a little tricky. Tricky, but not impossible to do. Like I said earlier, it needs some getting used to. But since you use the Move controller to look around, the ball of the controller has to be pointed at the screen/eye and you can't rest (rest meaning gun at your side or at the ready/pointing down) when you move about. I can now understand when other reviewers were saying that the peripheral was getting heavy...
When I play the arcade mode of Time Crisis this peripheral is the best thing since sliced bread. But I say that because you really don't have to navigate around so much. You just point and shoot. But in Killzone 3 and the story mode of Time Crisis where you play FPS style gameplay it's a little tougher...
I'm giving this 4 outta 5 because it's not perfect but it sure is fun to play with and gives games another dimension at game play. I at least know that when it comes to playing FPS games I'd rather stick with the regular controller than using the Move.
A huge plus when using this peripheral/Move controller though is I sure am a lot more accurate when targeting the enemy! Like headshots most the time!
What's great about it: Fun and new dimension of game play!
What's not so great: Learning curve.

This is a pretty good anime feature. I didn't have any issue with the dub; to me, everything sounded like it should be. Visually, I must say this stuff is total eye candy! It's an interesting take on the social network craze going on; though of course, the show is on a totally different level than real life.... Anime on Bluray definitely looks great!
I highly recommend!

This release from the sexy and fantastical anime series My Bride is a Mermaid includes episodes 14-26 of the show, following the story of a guy named Nagasumi, who is rescued from drowning by a beautiful mermaid - who can only save is life if he agrees to marry her. To the average guy, marrying a beautiful (and scantily clad) mermaid sounds like a dream, but to the nervous Nagasumi, it's more of a nightmare.

Holy smokes this series is pretty funny! When I watched the first couple of episodes I must say I was hesitant and first; I thought the premise was kind of lame. Though as I continued to watch I must say this show is off the wall crazy funny! I think because the premise was odd it perpetuated the comedy, in a totally hilarious way.
I sure am a fan when they change the art/look of a character when something funny happens. It's great!
I recommend this series to people who want to laugh. Just don't take it too seriously and you'll enjoy this show I'm sure... This has entered my personal top 10 favorite anime...
What's great about it: So funny!

I'm impressed!

Yup I'm impressed by the Kinect. I've had this for about over a week now and I must say this thing is pretty awesome. I was a little worried at first at how this thing would work without having a controller. But as their ad slogan says "you are the controller." It does a pretty good job at sensing where your hands, head, feet and body are. I would say I do build up a sweat moving around playing Kinect Adventures; it's kinda a cool game. I also picked up Dance Central and Your Shape to play with the Kinect and they work well together. Dance Central is addicting, like any other music genre game I suppose.
Of course the down side of the Kinect is trying to make room for the play area. In my small little studio apartment I rearranged my stuff and furniture to accommodate for this peripheral. I never had to do this playing with my Wii or the PS Move. I moved stuff around to where I thought I had a lot of play area (just as much to how far back to where the people in the commercials were) but unfortunately I'm still just stuck in the "Good" area where one player at a time; as opposed to being in the "Better" area where two people can stand next to each other at a time. Me being in the "Good" area isn't bad, but only one player at a time the game tells me. It still senses me just fine where I am in the "good" area so I'm happy. (Getting the tv mount only killed about a foot or so, so I really didn't think it made any difference.)
The microphone feature is pretty cool. I can say "Xbox" and the Xbox will ask me on screen what do I want to do. I do wish they integrated the Kinect more with the dashboard. So far it works by going to the "Kinect hub" and then you can use gestures and what not. Maybe in future updates I suppose.
Anyways I think the Kinect is cool and I recommend this to casual gamers or anyone with kids. Hardcore gamers can pass on this for now.... We'll see after a month if the fun factor is still there or if its going to collect dust like my Wii or now like my Move; (this all depends on the kind of games that come out for it). But hey at least you can use it for Last.fm or video conferencing or whatever.
Oh, I do worry a little about Big Bro M$ watching me play games though.

I give this a "meh"!
on August 13, 2010

Haven't picked up an anime series for a while so when I seen this for pretty cheap so I said what the hay.
As my summary/title states I'm giving this series a meh. I did not care for the characters whatsoever. They look similar to other characters in other anime shows out there, like Negima for instance, but their mannerisms are nowhere close. The premise of the show (summary on the back of the box) seemed interesting but I feel the execution just failed big time. To me, I think that the characters are just straight up annoying!
It could have been the dub. I felt that some of the voices didn't fit the characters.
I guess I felt nothing for this show because I thought the characters sucked.
I don't recommend.
What's great about it: The collection set was cheap!
What's not so great: I guess it was cheap for a reason.

Do I have enough room for the kinect?

I want to purchase a 360 xbox with the kinect but where I have my TV it is on a wall where we have a pool table. We have enough space on the other side but not sure if the pool table with the kinect would interfere with it seeing our complete body.
I think the Kinect would have to see your whole body depending on the game. I think you would have to move your pool table. Hey, you could always play a Pool video game instead of the real thing....Am I right?!

The older games for the 360. Will they play on the Newer Model 360 4GB and 250GB. What about the controls are they all different.
They work just fine. But remember it's better to rip the games on to the hard drive and play the game from there. It's much faster and quieter than running the game from the disc.

Is the kinect really worth the money?

I have to say it is pretty nifty! Cutting edge I'd say. The same sort of buzz like when the Wii first came out. But if you're a hardcore gamer you can do without. If you have kids they'll love it. My nephew can't get enough of Kinect Adventures.

black ops?

can u take in games to trade for black ops and if so how many games do u need to bring in?
Yes you can. Check out the games area of the BB website and it'll tell you whats up. Oh get the game warranty for games over 39.99. Some worker was telling me about it and for 4.99 for the warranty you can bring in the game you just bought and get your money back in full but only in gift card form and in turn flip it for another new game. Just a thought, and better ask a sales guy to make sure I'm correct.

How can i get my xbox online what do i need

what do i need all together
1. An internet service provider. You need access to the internet somehow.
2. You might want a router or switch to split the connection from your modem that you received from you ISP. Use a wireless router if you plan on connecting your Xbox wirelessly.
3. (For the old Xbox360 styles) An ethernet cord to plug in or you have to buy the WiFi adapter if you want to go wireless.
(For the new Xbox360 Slim) An ethernet cord to plug in or use the built in Wifi adapter to connect to the internet.
4. An Xbox Live account if you want to go gold. If not you can use the free silver account which has access to nothing... Go gold I guess.

How hard is it to use x-box live with modern warfare 4?.

I have a x-box 360 and would like to play against other people. Thanks for your help.
Not very hard at all. All you need is a 360, internet connection, and a paid Xbox Live account. You can use the free 48hour xbl card that came with the game to test out the service. I have an internet cable running from my system to my router, it's pretty much right next to each other so that's how I connect. If you want to go wireless, which I never tried, you have to buy an adapter.

i bough i sony blu-ray dvd player, and i have A sony flat tv with HD and when i put a movie to watch it does not see really clear?

Hmmm, sony plus sony product should equal nice picture. What kind of connections do you have? HDMI cables I hope. I hear if you have component cables or lesser connecting the two the quality will lack. If you do have HDMI connecting the two together the two sony products should see each other and fix their setting by themselves.
