Ever since I heard of this movie I wanted to watch it really bad but never got the chance to see it theaters. I just finished watching this and oh my god was this movie incredible. I expected much less from this but it came out on top. It's a little predictable but it's still enjoyable enough for anyopne to keep watching it. This is a definate must for MMA or UFC fans. If you're not into that stuff then you might not like it as much but i loved it.

I always thought that this movie would be really funny cause it has some funny actors in this that were hysterical in other movies. Once i finished watching it, it was like was that it? that wasnt good. Ill admit there are some funny parts in this that will make u laugh but not really worth spending money on it. I would only recommend if youre bored, have nothing to do, and uve wanted to watch this movie. Otherwise just dont watch it.

For fans of Rodriguez's and Tarantino's horror films, this double-disc deluxe edition is a treasure-trove of essential information, as well as being a pristine sound and video transfer. In a slightly unusual arrangement of priorities, disc one contains not the film itself, but a full-length documentary entitled Full-Tilt Boogie which contains an hour and a half of behind-the-scenes footage and interviews and manages to capture almost every single aspect of life on the set. It comes complete with captions, chapter stops, and crew bios and is very entertaining. Disc two contains the extensive remainder of the special features. These include a commentary track with Rodriguez and Tarantino which is very informative, provided you have the patience to decipher Tarantino's tangents and manic speech patterns. Also included are an "outtakes" section which is basically a collection of missteps and flubbed lines, a shorter behind-the-scenes documentary entitled "Hollywood Goes To Hell." It's fun to watch, but in comparison to the full-length documentary also included it feels a little redundant, especially since a good deal of it is taken from Full-Tilt Boogie. Additionally, the disc contains trailers and TV spots, a still gallery, two music videos, alternate and deleted scenes with optional commentary by Rodriguez and makeup artist Greg Nicotero, several segments presented by Rodriguez in the manner of his infamous "ten-minute film school" installments in which he discusses his methods of filmmaking, and, finally, cast and crew biographies and filmographies. The disc's video transfer is impeccable. Every color is faithfully reproduced, especially the fleshtones, and the dark tones and rich blacks have been preserved in all the right places. There are find no instances of artifacting or grain, and the 1.85:1 aspect ratio is maintained, although there is no evidence of 16x9 enhancement. The audio is a very well-balanced 5.1 mix which makes excellent use of the surround speakers. All of these features are brought together through nicely animated menus. This compilation is as comprehensive a representation of the film as one could hope for. Indispensable for fans of Rodriguez, Tarantino, or horror films in general.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. It was so incredible. Everything in this movie made me want to appreciate life and live it to my fullest. As lame as that sounds, its so true and ull see why when u check this movie. Ive watched it so many times already and it never gets old and everytime i watch this i feel like going to Alaska. There was nothing wrong with this movie at all, the ending was really sad though. Oh well its a true story and that makes this movie even better. You have to definately see this. You will enjoy this wonderful movie!!!

The NBC series' first season begins with the origin stories of several lonely, disconnected people who learn they're destined to become superheroes. At the center of the unfolding tale is Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia), a nurse haunted by cryptic dreams who believes he's meant to do great things with his life. Peter tries to convince his politico brother Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), who is running for the U.S. Senate, that something strange is happening to both of them, but Nathan is adamant about maintaining a low profile and keeping his personal life out of the press. Meanwhile, a Texas cheerleader (Hayden Panettiere) discovers she's completely indestructible, but she's in for an even bigger shock when she realizes her family is hiding a dark secret. Over in Los Angeles, a beat cop (Greg Grunberg) develops the ability to read minds, and an Internet stripper (Ali Larter) begins to manifest a murderous alternate personality. And in Tokyo, bored cubicle drone Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) is desperate for the kind of adventures found in comic books and Star Trek. (In a sly in-joke, Hiro's father shows up later in the season and is portrayed by Star Trek alum George Takei.) Hiro's wish is miraculously granted when he develops the ability to travel through time and space, teleporting himself instantly from a Tokyo subway to Times Square. But Hiro's elation quickly turns to fear when he witnesses a nuclear explosion lay waste to New York City. Upon teleporting home, he realizes he's just seen a glimpse of a catastrophe that will happen in a few weeks unless he can stop it. Heroes from across the globe gradually meet up and form alliances as they try to prevent the nuclear attack and fight back against a shadowy, superpowered serial killer known as Sylar (Zachary Quinto), who is able to murder the would-be superheroes and steal their abilities in the process.

This show was actually really amazing even though i thought much less of it. Its cool how theyre coming out in blu-ray which will definately make this show even better which i thought wasnt possible. This will keep wanting to watch episode to episode as much as you can. I watched 34 episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 in about 3 days and theyre about 45 mins long each. This alone should make u wanna get a blu-ray player. Definately worth every penny!!

In Season 2 of the superhero saga, the nascent heroes learn more about their similarly superpowered families and ancestors. Indestructible cheerleader Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) and her family are forced to go into hiding in California in order to escape the clutches of the Company, an organization that tracks and captures superheroes. While her father, Noah (Jack Coleman), a former employee of the Company, insists she not do anything to attract attention, Claire finds herself attracted to a fellow student (Nicholas D'Agosto) with a superpowered secret of his own. After barely managing to avert a nuclear explosion in Season 1's finale, Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) is presumed dead by his grieving family, only to awaken in Ireland with no idea who he is or how he got there. Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) accidentally time travels to 17th-century feudal Japan, where he encounters his childhood hero, the legendary swordsman Takezo Kensei. But Hiro's joy is short-lived: He discovers that not only is Kensei a white foreigner (David Anders) living in Japan, but he's also a drunken coward who needs Hiro's help in order to achieve his destiny. Hiro eventually returns to the present and learns his father (George Takei) has been killed, the first in a series of murders of superheroes who had been active a generation ago. As the murders continue, it becomes clear that this killing spree is an act of revenge connected to a deadly virus that could spell disaster for humanity. In addition to this threat, the heroes must also deal with the return of superpowered serial killer Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and the arrival of a new villain (Kristen Bell), a mentally unstable agent of the Company with the ability to control lightning and electricity.

GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!
on July 11, 2008

Ever since i heard about this show i had heard great things about it but it never seemed that interesting to me. The commercials for this show made it look really boring and un-interesting. So i decided to give this show a shot just to see if a couple of my friends were right about this show. In the past few days I saw 34 episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 and i couldnt believe how amazing this show actually is. Ill admit there are a couple slow parts but u keep meeting new people not just the same over and over again. I never thought of this to be so good but i cannot wait till the third season comes out so i can watch more of it. Seriously if youre bored at home or wanna watch someting good, give this a try and i guarantee u that youll enjoy this as much as i did.

Great Sequel!
By SurfingDude289 from Thornton, CO
Beyond excited to see this as Disney's first ever 4K release and will look beautiful! The steelbook case looks great and have already pre-ordered it for sure! Now onto the actual movie, definitely a great movie and while I feel it didn't quite live up to the original, it had great elements in it and some good old Marvel humor! The opening scene was perfect with Groot and good to see them continually exploring the Marvel universe by meeting new characters and a big player in one of the end credit scenes that they speak about! Honestly, just a great movie for everyone and can not wait for Infinity War! Buy this folks!!

Marveldood yeah there will be a digital copy of it coming with the movie. It's been announced that it will. No indication however of it being a UHD copy or not. Most don't have UHD digital copies. So far Kong Skull Island is the only one I've bought that came with a UHD copy.
