THE QUINTESSENTIAL BLU-RAY DISC

I can't believe how visually stunning this film is. What a feast for the senses! As far as 3-d goes, I didn't miss it for one second. I loved the choice of aspect ratio, and felt that it added a great deal to the larger-than-life feel of this movie.
This movie blew up my 5.1 like no other! The Earth shook , and I think my ears are still bleeding!
As far as the movie itself goes, ( Plot, screenplay, etc.) I think people are being far too critical. This is escapism people. It is equally as good if not superior to other films of it's genre. But like any movie that does gang-busters at the box office, it's impossible to please everyone.
If you are a Blu-ray fanatic like me, this is a MUST own addition to your collection. Kudos to James Cameron and 20th Century Fox for putting out a truly remakable product.
What's great about it: The best picture / audio quality of any Blu-ray disc
What's not so great: Not much

This is simply Pixar's masterpiece. I cried my eyes out, laughed 'till my sides hurt, and enjoyed every moment of this film. In addition to that, every frame of this BD is reference quality. The textures appear so real you feel like you could reach out and touch 'em. Throw in an Oscar-winning score from Michael Giacchino and you simply have one of the greatest movies ever made. Great packaging and a TON of bonus features make this a no-brainer.
ENJOY!!!!!!

All three AUSTIN POWERS movies actually got a great transfer from New Line. PQ is great with plenty of vibrant colors, sharp images, and solid black levels. AQ is every bit as good as it needs to be. I was secretly waiting for this box to go on sale, but I got bored today and took the plunge. It was worth every penny, as these BD's are FAR SUPERIOR to any other versions of these films. (I have owned them on VHS, DVD and now BD) This is a MUST OWN for fans of these films. Besides, Elizabeth Hurley looks great in 1080p :)
What's great about it: A hilarious comedy trilogy gets the Blu treatment
What's not so great: Very little bonus features

Experience the theatrical versions of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in stunning high definition. Three DVDs featuring over six hours of bonus materials are also included, as are digital copies of each film.

LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WAIT FOR EXTENDED EDITIONS !!

First of all, let me just say that as a massive LOTR fan, I understand why some fans are upset that we didn't get the extended versions of these films right off the bat. Having said that, let me assure you that this is a QUALITY product well your hard earned $59.99.
I had not seen the theatrical versions of these iconic films in years, and all I can say is that strictly from a cinematic viewpoint, they simply flow BETTER! (THAT'S RIGHT I SAID IT!) All the excess information given to us in the EE's now seems, well, excessive! These versions are much more concise and to the point. In my opinion, the EE's now just feel self-indulgant, bloated and waaaaay too long.
Do yourself a favor and pick up this product. You won't be disappointed.
What's great about it: PRISTINE lossless audio and HD picture, Solid packaging
What's not so great: Bonus features on standard-def DVD's
I would recommend this to a friend!
