John Hughes' tale of a daylong detention, The Breakfast Club, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 English soundtracks are available. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the original theatrical trailer. The biggest selling point for the disc is the fact that the original music from the theatrical release of the film has been restored. While it would be accurate to say that the film has never sounded this good on home video, the lack of any substantive extras will probably disappoint the more hardcore fans of this iconic teen classic. The disc was released along with versions of two other John Hughes films, Weird Science and Sixteen Candles. The three DVDs were known as the High School Reunion Collection.

Amanda Bynes landed her first starring film role in this comedy drama, which gets the royal treatment on DVD. What a Girl Wants has been given a full-screen pan-and-scan transfer at the aspect ratio of 1.33:1 and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1. In addition to the original English language soundtrack, an alternate dubbed track in French has been included, as well as closed captions in English. Bonus materials include an alternate audio commentary from screenwriters Jenny Bicks and Elizabeth Chandler, a selection of deleted scenes, the film's original theatrical trailer, two bonus featurettes ("What's a Girl to Wear" and "Fashion Etiquette 101"), and two hidden Easter eggs: a chapter of bloopers and on-set gags, and audition videos from several of the film's actors.

for a long Time now I have not liked buying a whole album from an artist because I have not liked all of the songs. although when I listened to this album, I was shocked that I liked overy one of these songs. the piano was smooth and her voice in beautiful. I would recommend this album to people who also like kate Nash, Ingrid Michaelson and Jack Johnson

A great movie with flair

On the whole I love this movie and that It's different then others that I have seen. When I describe to others Across the universe, I mention that it has Moulin Rouge aspects. I think that because of the cinematography and the groovyness of some of the scenes. Such as when they go to the party, and after when they go to the circus.
What's great about it: I love the music and acting, I loved it the first time I saw it in the theater and every time I watch it on DVD.
What's not so great: Some of my friends thought that the plot was a little hard to understand sometimes and that it was a little slow.
I would recommend this to a friend!
