Not knowing what to expect from this offering, I was most pleasantly surprised by it. It told a magnificent tale full of love and fidelity, honor and integrity, religious and political manipulation, and betrayal.
The only negative issue (to some) is the necessary reliance on subtitling. For me, this was essential as my proficiency in Scandinavian or Arabic dialects is nonexistent.
Perhaps longer, more inclusive alternatives to this presentation are available. This in no way diminishes the quality of this film.
What's great about it: Almost everything
What's not so great: Would have appreciated some historical background in Special Features.
