Overall a good ghost tale. It has some neat affects for the time it was done. Barbara Hershy sells the terror pretty well. Easy to get caught up in the movie for an early eighties movie it's pretty well done. It doesn't seem as campy as most horror movies of today. in the eighties horror was horror and they weren't shooting for laughs. Because they have to be PC today so it takes away from the actualy violence of the horror movie. Def. worth a viewing maybe two.
What's great about it: How the ghost terrorizes the family
What's not so great: No back story as to where the ghost comes from or why it's messing witht he family
